Relax on the private rooftop and admire the evening sunsets and enjoy the cool ocean breeze. A modern kitchen with a great room attached opens up to the outside patio / BBQ and becomes one large living space. Designed with three master bedrooms this house is suited for a large family or adult couples travelling together so everyone has privacy. The roof top has hammocks and offers you a private get away within the current household. The city Center, main beach and some of the best restaurants in town are only minutes away on foot. Words can not describe this private paradise you will need to see it for yourself

The house was wonderful. We enjoyed using it as a home base for exploring many of the local beaches. It was also great to walk to the town to pick up groceries as needed. The neighbors were friendly and we felt very safe with the security at the gates.

Paradise in Barra

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. There were 6 adults, 3 couples. The home had plenty of room for us to be together also enough for separation. The location was incredibly convenient, with a short walk to cafes and restaurants. The well-maintained house was well stocked with everything we needed. The pool is only a few steps away, although it is a community pool, we were the only ones enjoying on most days. The owner was quick to answer any questions. It was a fantastic stay, one we hope to repeat next year. Thank you for a great stay!"

Spacious home, perfect for our family reunion.

The property has everything you need to make it a great stay. Well equiped kitchen and bathrooms. We had enough bedroom and bathroom space for our group of 12. My dad has mobility issues having a master bedroom on the ground floor and access to common area without steps was great. Doors are wide enought for a wheelchair. The pool is steps away for the outdoor patio. We took a boat tour and they picked us up on the lagoon side, steps away from the house. We booked Lupita (massage therapist), highly recommend getting a massage, she came to the house. The main restaurant area was a couple of blocks away. No driving needed. Host and property manager were very responsive to our questions and needs. Thanks Sheryl!

Perfect vacation home

The house is new, well kept, well equipped kitchen, lots of towels for pool and showers. Spacious, lots of room for the six adults and 2 children all together. We loved the location, safe area and easy to walk to all restaurants, square etc. Kids loved having the pool and a beach to explore. Guys and kids fished from the canal. Friendly Neighbors and staff. Thanks Sheryl we hope to be back again in the near future!

Enjoyable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is well maintained and located in a very nice area. The furnishings in the home are nice and we found the beds to be very comfortable. The two master suites had en-suite bathrooms which were both nice and spacious. The home is structured to allow lots of ventilation from windows. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants. Sheryl has done an excellent job putting together a book about the home and local area information. Sheryl was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wow.....

This was our first trip to Barra de Navidad, and the Casa Roca Blanca was the perfect place for us to stay. It was very close to the heart of town and some great shopping and restaurants. We felt very safe and comfortable the whole time. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need (although we barely ate in, since the food in Barra is so cheap), there was lots of hot water and the whole place was super clean. The bathrooms were large and there were lots of both bath towels & beach towels. We were able to arrange water delivery, and a weekly cleaning service. Having the washer and drier was so handy. The hammocks on the roof-top patio were great and the perfect place to watch the sun-set over Barra and to get a breeze on those super warm days. And the main floor patio was a major hang out in the morning for our coffee and for playing cards at night! The community pool is huge and we had it to ourselves almost every day. There is also a great covered community area that was perfect for the teens to go and hang out. We will be book this house again! And would highly recommend it for other family or friend getaways. Thanks Sheryl & Kris for letting us stay in your amazing home. We can't wait to return.

We currently live in Nanoose Bay on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. My family and I discovered this sweet town of Barra de Navidad with close friends in 2013 and fell in love with it immediately. It took us a few years but then we were able to build our lovely vacation home here in 2018. We are an active family with
three adult kids enjoying softball, water sports, fitness, travel and work. Our girls are currently going to post secondary schools in Victoria and / or working in Healthcare in Parksville and Nanaimo. (Proud parents) Some of our favourite moments are spent with friends and family on Sproat Lake in Port Alberni or enjoying country music and the lively atmosphere at Sunfest Laketown Ranch in Cowichan Lake. Our busy lifestyle gives us the opportunity to share our home with you and your family. As this rental is new to VRBO please feel free to touch base for some personal references. We truly hope you get the opportunity to experience our house and this special town .
