Knotty Pine - A Fairy Tale Cottage Getaway

Welcome to Knotty Pine, the Magical Fairy Tale Cottage! The covered front porch has a comfortable swing for two.

Kick back on the new leather couch and enjoy your favorite show on the flat screen tv where satellite television is still available. Yes, there are sports channels included! There are two stylish Amish wood rocking chairs for maximum comfort. The living room offers a unique wood burning stove and glass doors that lead out to the back porch. The kitchen is on the same floor and is equipped with full size appliances, a microwave, blender and a standard drip coffee maker. Gather round the dining table to share any meal and good conversation.

The master bedroom is on this main level, featuring a king size bed and a full bath with a shower/tub combination.

For the kids, or the kid in you, downstairs is all about entertainment and fun. Enjoy the Ping Pong table and other games provided. Be sure to pop up some popcorn and watch a movie on the large flat screen TV in the entertainment room. There is a futon for seating and sleeping for those additional guests. The washer and dryer can be found behind the folding doors in this room. Another queen bedroom is located on this bottom floor at the end of the hall. The third full bath is located between the two room and also features a shower/tub combination.

Upstairs on the third level is another queen bedroom with a full bath: a double sink vanity and a walk in shower.

Enjoy the end of the day reminiscing around the outdoor fire pit or star gazing from the brand new hot tub.

• Parking: Space is available for 5 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel to the paved driveway. There is a steep hill on the drive to the property.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed at Knotty Pine.

The property was fairly clean but the floors could use a good mopping, there were dead insects in the lampshades of the living room , it had a couple of light bulbs out, the internet did not work even though we reported it from day one, it was only fixed the afternoon before our check out. We had a ping pong table but no ping pong balls, too bad. The water can get scalding hot really fast. The dryer machine was full of lint. There is a 5 min off-road trail up to the cabin so 4by 4 cars recommended, the rental company offered one more night as compensation but it wasn’t possible with our schedule. On the positive side is very close to Helen , and is very quiet, overall is a very cozy home but I don’t think we’ll return.

We enjoyed our stay. This was one of the nicest and cleanest properties we have stayed in. We had a question about the air conditioning and the property manager helped us on solving the problem. We appreciated the management checking to see if we were having a good time.

Awesome cabin!

Gorgeous cabin & very secluded. It is up a mountain, the drive isn't bad but be aware it is all gravel roads. Much closer to Helen than expected! We had such a great time & would book here again!

Wonderful Cabin!

We stayed at Knotty Pine for a long weekend trip to Helen, GA. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the cabin. The hot tub is wonderful for cool nights after a fun day, the fire pit out back is a nice touch too! We loved that there were 3 bathrooms so we each got our own bedroom and bathroom. The location is great for visiting Helen and the road in isn’t as bad as what I expected after reading some of the reviews. We will definitely be back!
