The kids loved the backyard, lots of space to play. The hot tub and the air hockey table was also a big hit.Beautiful and quiet neighbour hood, close to lots of good restaurants.
This home was fully stocked & functional. Just like home. Great communication with the host, he made sure we had all of our needs & wants met. Family friendly, games, theater & hot tub. Neighborhood was nice & quiet. We felt safe & secure. We were in town for an AAU state championship tourney. So, we’re on the go but when we need down time, this home was excellent. Kitchen had everything a cook needs and lots of tableware. I will look into booking again in the future. Thank you!
Loved staying. It was big enough that we were able to have our own spaces but could come together. The yards were great and beautiful. It is located away from the downtown area so you can relax but was still close to many restaurants which was great. This was a great choice for our group. Check in was easy and the whole experience great.
Kitchen had all we needed for cooking and serving. We appreciate having some staples in the pantry,We use the hot tub several times. It is 99 or 100 when we arrive, we add a couple of degrees when in use, then turn the heat back. The tub's location is perfect.
Great home, well supplied, quiet neighborhood..hosted an annual old guys poker tourney and it was excellent. Only one suggestion, dining room chairs were hard on us old guys sitting for hours of play..other than that..look forward to reserving again next year..
My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was very accommodating for everything we needed. Location, space for all, backyard was pleasant, neighborhood was nice and quiet.
We would stay here again.
This house was very comfortable for six adults and two children. Great beds, plenty of bathrooms, large backyard, and the hot tub was a definite plus! We would definitely rent this property again.
We had a great stay, everything was clean and matched the descriptions as advertised. Hot tub was awesome and the game room/theater was fun. The place was very homey and comfortable. The checkin process was easy and the owner was communicative and helpful.
Hill n Dale is our retreat home. Spacious, comfortable, convenient location, excellent beds and amenities.

Hosted by Rick
Rick Dyer is an inventor. Probably best known as the creator of the hit video game 'Dragon’s Lair'. Rick considers it a great privilege to live in such a beautiful place... Our family fell in love with the peace and tranquility of this magnificent location and coziness of our house. Most noticeable is the lack of traffic and sirens, just the quiet sounds of nature. I love the four seasons, each for their own unique character.
Rick purchased this House in 2017
Why they chose this property
GO BACK IN TIME. VISIT THE LITTLE SPOKANE RIVER
Imagine yourself gently guiding your birch bark canoe through the serpentine meanders of the Little Spokane River. You stop your pelt-laden canoe only long enough to check the next trap or perhaps study the long-legged Great Blue Heron fishing the shallows for some unlucky rainbow trout smolt.
Such was the scene that early fur trader and explorer David Thompson may have viewed with his interpreter and guide Jacques Finlay as they canoed the river in search of beaver and muskrat in the early 1800's.
Today, you may still explore the Little Spokane River and experience much of the same environment as David Thompson discovered almost 200 years ago. The river remains pristine, undisturbed by the march of civilization occurring just a couple miles away and seemingly centuries removed.
What makes this property unique
EXPLORE THE LITTLE SPOKANE RIVER.
Perhaps the best way to experience the rare freshwater marsh environment of The Little Spokane River is by quietly paddling a canoe or kayak down the river. Stealthy observers may see a wide variety of songbirds, woodpeckers, raptors, and waterfowl.
A great blue heron rookery can be found in the tall cottonwoods by the river. Please travel quietly because these birds are sensitive to disturbance. This area is closely monitored and may be closed during the critical nesting season, which runs from March to mid-May.
Beaver, muskrat, porcupines, raccoons, coyotes, marmots, white-tailed deer, and others -- even moose -- call this place home. Remember to stay away from wildlife, such as bear, cougar, and moose, particularly during calf season. Any wild animal will take extreme measures to protect its young ones. Rattlesnakes also inhabit this area, although they are seldom seen, so walk with awareness. We are guests in their home. Please respect them.
Wonder at the ancient Indian rock pictographs and about the people who painted them. Hike along some or all of the six miles of trails (Riverside Park area) to re-discover a sense of solitude and sensitivity.
