Friends Lodge

Friends Lodge has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a study room and a game room. The first bedroom has 2 queen beds, the second bedroom has one queen bed, the third bedroom has two twin beds and a queen bed and two cots in the closet. The study room has a futon and there is a sofa bed in the living room.

This 2303 Sq. Ft. home has a large wrap around deck which is 1325 Sq. Ft., that sits beside Chilnualna Falls Creek, which flows from the Lower Chilnualna Falls, which you can hike to from this cabin. An outdoor Jacuzzi and gas grill with patio furniture are also provided on the deck.

The first level has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room seating for 14 guests, laundry room and one of the bedrooms (with 2 queen beds) and bathroom. There is a spacious living room with a wood burning stove, which we provide you with free firewood. The living room has a 55" flat screen TV, DVD player, Direct TV service, including some premium channels. There is a sofa bed in the living room as well. The game room is also located on the first floor and has a Foosball table.
Each bedroom has a TV with Direct TV.

This property also has an EV charging station for you electrical vehicle charging needs

The second floor has the second bedroom, study room, and master suite. The master suite has its own private bathroom and balcony.

Air Conditioning, central heating, and a backup generator are also provided. You may use the landline for free local and USA phone calls.

This is a pet-friendly cabin. There is a $50 pet fee, per day. Maximum pets allowed are 2.

Great family vacation home!

Excellent Location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Friends Cottage. It was clean and comfortable. The property is a bit shabby and dated, especially the furnishings, but we enjoyed the location on the river, sitting on the large deck and the location within Yosemite National Park.

Great stay in Wawona

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious and private Wawona house! It was very spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, the foosball table and exploring the creek right outside the house. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and the kitchen had plenty of seating. Check in and check out was easy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Christmas in the woods

This is a lovely, spacious home with room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped, the view was lovely and the hot tub delighted my son-in-law and youngest granddaughter.

Nice quiet getaway

The owners are very prompt in responding to our inquiry about renting their home. They are exceptionally nice and friendly. The home is spacious, homely, and clean. The Chilnualna Falls hiking trail, which is nearby, is very beautiful.We loved the experience.

Great river view

The home was spacious and well appointed. Particularly enjoyed the back deck with a view of the river. Plenty of outdoor chairs for all. Too bad the hot tub wasn't working , but I understand a part needed has been ordered.

Fun in Wawona!

Great house, lots of room and different spaces for people. Nice big deck and a good hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. Only issues were confusing instructions on the firestove (couldn't find the damper they talked about and tried to call management but it was a holiday evening so not surprised no one picked up.) Otherwise we had a great stay!

Everything was great. I will not be making reservations during winter. We had the biggest storm in years. Heron the plower operator and the cleaning crew where great. Highly recommend. Will be doing reservation in spring or summer.

An Enjoyable Stay

My family enjoyed our stay. A beautiful setting -looking out on a creek in back and in a forest . The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Within walking distance of some hiking trails. Would definitely stay here again.

Great and Comfortable Experience

The house is amazing! The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The extra fan in each room came in handy. The kitchen, family room and dining room are very spacious and accommodating for a large group. There were lots of things to do like the pool with inflatables and toys and a garage with a Pac-Man table and Foosball. In the garage the washer and dryer and PLENTY of towels were helpful. Everything was clean and I’m working order. It is in a great location with a shopping center with a Starbucks in walking distance. We had an amazing time, even left Disney early to hang out in the house. The only bad thing about the house was not being able to use it at night after coming home tired and hot from sightseeing. We recommend it 100%!

This cabin had almost everything we needed for our group of 8 adults and two children. There was plenty of room for us all to sit around the table for meals, lots of basic dishes (glasses/plates/bowls/etc.) and an assortment of kitchen dishes/pans. (missing a cookie sheet.) We did use the bbq on the deck and it worked great. Getting in and out to the deck was a challenge as the patio door was almost impossible to close. It really needs replacing. Thankfully you could go out the front door and walk around to the back to access the large deck. The jacuzzi was great after a day hiking. The bedrooms all smelled pretty bad, but opening the windows helped. Old carpet I guess. I did need more dish towels (there were 2) and someone came over quickly and gave us some hand towels that we could use. Before the trip when I emailed questions, the response was quick. It was a reasonable place to stay considering that you were inside the park and didn't have to wait in line. It is a block from the trailhead for Chilnualna falls which we hiked, so very handy. The local grocery store is just for basics (think gas station store with a few more fun things,) so get your groceries before you come in to the park.

Great family getaway

House is perfect for a medium to large family. Has a beautiful creek running behind it. Plenty of space. A little dated, but otherwise a great spot to tackle Yosemite from.

Close to trailheads, quiet, amply furnished, comfortable and a lovely outdoor setting. We did have to drive to Yosemite Valley, but the property is located within the park boundary, making that trip easy to do.

Loved Friends Lodge. A perfect getaway for friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at friends lodge. It’s spacious and well maintained. Loved the deck, Jacuzzi and sounds of the river flowing by. Would highly recommend it for a couple of families traveling together or a large group of friends. Will sleep at least eight comfortably. Plus another few twin beds, fold outs and a futon..

Fantastic location and accommodations!

I would recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a family get away. Close to Yosemite, the Mariposa Grove, river swimming, hiking, etc. Book and enjoy!!

Perfect for a big group of friends!

This home was very beautiful, spacious, and cozy! Plenty of space if you are bringing a large group. Everything was clean when we got there. We had ton of fun in the outdoor tub and the Fooseball table in the living room. I liked the location as it was pretty close to the Yosemite falls we planned on going to. Im glad we got to spend time here and recommend this to anyone who wants to take a large group of friends out for a good time!!

Perfection!

What an beautiful home. We stayed this weekend for our family reunion and had an amazing time. All The amenities of home and spotless. Prop management super responsive and accommodating. Perfect size for all of us..tons of room and super comfortable beds and living area. We will be back!!!!!!
