Welcome to the newly completed Sea Lofts at Padaro Beach. This is Santa Barbara's most exclusive beach. If you are looking for a safe place to stay, this is it. You won't find closer accommodations to the water for miles. Not only are you a few feet from the sea, you are a hundred yards from surf shops, restaurants and boutiques . You can rent surfboards, paddle boards, take surf lessons, or grab breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of the locals spots on Santa Claus Lane without ever getting in your car. The Sea Lofts are the premier beach destination for Santa Barbara. You can walk for miles at low tide, or just sit on the deck and watch the sunset. The well appointed Surf Loft has a king bed and full bath that is handicap accessible. It is spacious, with a full kitchenette. Featuring a microwave, fridge, and everything you need for a memorable stay at the beach. There is an outside shower to rinse off after your day playing in the sand. We provide beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella for those beautiful sunny beach days

If your looking for more things to do, you have the option of going into Carpinteria 3 minutes away or Montecito and Santa Barbara 8 minutes away. Spend a day in Ojai just a short 30 minute trip. After a long day of fun, fall asleep with the sound of the waves just outside your window.

Truly unique location and really nice experience staying right on the sand. The property is well maintained and the host was very kind and responsive. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning! Derby (pictured) had a fabulous time.

We really enjoyed our stay by the beach. The unit is immaculate, comfortable and the view is fabulous. We already knew about the trains and proximity to 101The only thing missing for us was an small freezer compartment in the fridge to store some ice!Will definitely return!

Stayed for six nights in August 2026. The property is exceptionally clean and just as shown. Very quiet. Excellent location and views. The food just down the street a couple blocks is much better than normal beach food …namely Thario’s and Padaro Beach Grill. Would definitely come back.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Sea Loft. The atmosphere is top notch charming and so comfortable. Designated parking in front and no stairs inside or to access loft.Jeff’s communication was quick/excellent. The setting: Shorebirds, surfers, lush tropical plantings. Every evening we had appetizers/salads in the front chairs while watching the magical sunset. We also looked forward to the train’s woosh and soft “toot toot” as it moved travelers along the coast. Surrounded by the Sea, Beach and Mountains. Walkable Padaro shops and restaurants. Carpinteria, Santa Barbara (trolly gives a pleasant overview) , Montecito and their offerings… Doesn’t get any better! A week was too short.

Beautiful views of the ocean from the loft and the outdoor patio. We were lucky to see a pod of dolphins swim by during our stay. The place was very comfortable and super clean. The kitchenette had all the basics—Nespresso machine, beverage refrigerator, and microwave. I would recommend they add measuring cups/spoons and some mixing barware to the kitchen items to make it even better. We definitely enjoyed our time there! Thank you.

Amazing Place!!

Beautiful property in a beautiful place! You can’t beat the location and the property is awesome. Close to restaurants, shops, Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. We’ve been to a lot of VRBO’s but this one is special.

We had an excellent stay at the efficiency loft which has a front seat view of the Pacific Ocean. Can't decide which were more beautiful -- The sunrise or sunset views: dolphin dorsal fins, the Channel Islands in the distance, or occasional landing of paragliders at our front yard. So handy to have three restaurants within walking distance, and almost everything else within a 20 minute drive from Carpinteria. The unit is very conveniently designed and accessible! -- especially the shower. We would live to return!b Thank you Jeff and family for great hospitality.

Excellent Rental

We loved the Surf Loft! The view and proximity to the beach was amazing. It was clean and modern and Jeff was very attentive. We miss the view already - highly recommend!!

Perfect spot for a quick weekend away.

So close to the beach, so close to Santa Barbara, a beautiful spot to get away from it all. The train does roll by, but the property is very well built so the sound is not bad at all. Thanks for letting us stay, we will be back.

Happy Place!

Why they chose this property

When compared to the newest hotel on the beach in Santa Barbara the Lofts are a great Value, coming in at a third of the price for a comparable stay.

What makes this property unique

The Lofts do not have access to the upstairs apartment and deck. They share the lower deck which is now separated by a planter to give guests more privacy. There are two parking spots in front of the building designated for the lofts.
