The perfect landing for your adventures! Finely appointed cottage with expansive floorplan and private lanai. Walk to the beach for unforgettable sunrises or along the Princeville Path for epic mountain view and ocean bluff sunsets. Walkable to restaurants, shops, farmer's market in Princeville.

The cottage has been beautifully updated and features a full kitchen, washer/dryer in unit, and two full baths. The large lanai and garden backs up to the golf course and the historic Queen Emma Path, a tree-lined trail that leads to tranquil Wyllie Beach.

The bedroom suite features a California-King Tempur Pedic bed, workspace, and private bath complete with a dual-headed rain shower. Enjoy the tropical garden view from the dining room and native wood built-ins in the living area. A convertible sleeper sofa and additional bathroom with soaking tub make a comfortable setting for additional guests. Fully equipped kitchen to create your own meals, or grill your fresh catch on the lanai. Best beach days ahead with beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear and sand toys provided.

Hale Papio was a wonderful, quiet retreat for our time in Kauai. It was a nice location at the back part of the complex with a secluded deck and yard area. The house had all we needed for our getaway.

This was a great place to stay. Clean with nice kitchen. We loved the back deck with lush yard. The roosters were a bit noisy in the mornings but to be expected. We would stay here again.

This home was gorgeous and cozy, the property was beautiful and there was all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay. We loved how close the cottage was to a trail that led to the beach. Magical Getaway

Spent the month of July on this beautiful island of Kauai. The scenery in Princeville & Hanalei takes your breath away. Kudos to Jeff & Joanna Porter for creating this little gem in paradise.

Aloha from our Ohana to yours! We are based out of Denver, Colorado with Kauai being our second home. This bungalow is a long time dream made possible, we plan on living here full time once we retire. We are happy to share our Hale and our dream with you as our guest.

Why they chose this property

Kauai has a magic to it that welcomes you in and keeps you constantly in awe. This Princeville bungalow is in a prime location, situated off the walking path into Princeville Center where you can enjoy restaurants and shopping, weekend farmer's markets and sunset strolls with sweeping mountain views. Head out back of the bungalow and down the historic tree lined Queen Emma's carriage path to Wyllie Beach (the furthest extent of Anini Beach and a favorite spot to site sea turtles). all while only a 7 minute scenic drive down to Hanalei. The bungalow offers a large private lanai with golf course views and gorgeous tropical garden.

What makes this property unique

We love the privacy and tranquility of the bungalow with its expansive main suite, vaulted ceilings and native wood features. The spacious lanai and wine cooler make it perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The double headed shower in the main suite is the perfect luxury to get that sand out of your hair. When you're in the bungalow you are close to everything, but feel like you have your own piece of paradise.
