About this property

2 bedroom 2 bath condo close to everything

Our two bedroom/2 bath condo, with a 1 king, 1 queen and a sofa sleeper comfortably sleeps 6. The unit is very large, and features a full kitchen, two baths and a fireplace in the living room (plus a washer dryer). In addition, it has two decks, one in the front, the other is in the back of the unit for what I call the “morning coffee” deck. This unit is spacious and comfortable.

In addition, our central gardens contain a great pool and common area. We are kid friendly. We are close to all of Saugatuck/Douglas activities and easy walking distance to two restaurants. The grocery is two minutes away. Saugatuck Douglas has some of the best beaches in the world. Oval Beach – which is on National Geographic’s best beach list as well as MTV, is a short drive away.

This condo was amazing, perfect location about 10 minutes from everywhere- hiking, boat rentals, downtown Saugatuck, you name it. Loved the modern decor, friendly neighbors & amenities. Isabel’s market was great for a quick morning walk for coffee & pastries. Highly recommend & will visit again!

Nice Place

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Northern Lights. The condo was nicely appointed and very clean. The beds were the comfiest we had ever slept in! Our only suggestion is for a large ottoman or coffee table in front of the couch, and maybe a list of cable channels to make tv viewing easier. All in all, a very nice place.

Two Thumbs Up!

Nice location and everything was as good or better than advertised. The coffee pot is a bit of a pain but somewhat functional. The air conditioning is pretty loud but this is minor. The condo was well appointed and the grounds were pretty.

The condo needs a deep clean. Dark floor was absolutely filthy. Lots of large unnecessary furniture. No cable service at all. Coffee pot needs a good cleaning. Pool had way too much chlorine in it. AC could not be adjusted. We love coming to Northern Lights but this was not our favorite condo by far.

Pool and market

Pool and the market on the property were great but without those two things we would not have liked it. Some minor repairs are needed in the apartment, doorknobs falling off, lightbulbs burnt out and mattress may actually be the worse mattresses we have ever slept on. None of us slept for days, they are concave and dive to the middle, edges are hard, they are probably decades old, and considering how cheap mattresses are we got the feeling the owner cares more about his $$ then making us comfortable. The pool and going to the market were great but again, without them it would have sucked

Overal really enjoyed our stay! The place was updated, had a really nice pool and great patio to relax in morning and at night. The location was close to Saugatuck and Douglas so lots to do.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful experience. The complex is beautiful and peaceful. The unit was perfectly updated and maintained. Loved the pool, and Isabel’s. Saugatuck is right down the street.

Condo was modern, clean and comfortable. Nice patio off back where we had coffee and could enjoy the peaceful views of nature. Parking was easy and close!

Terrific Stay in Douglas!

Very well run, quick follow up by management when we notified them of ice not working in freezer. Very clean and welcoming of pets. The only challenge was internet /wifi was very slow and they let us know when we arrived that others had experienced issues. We will definitely return again next year!
