This Historic Barn cottage is nestled in downtown Summerville and boasts completely updated modern amenities to make your stay in our charming hometown a time to remember. You’ll be within easy walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and the world famous Sweet Tea mug, but also only 22 miles from the Holy City of Charleston or your pick of our many islands and beaches that dot the Lowcounty.

This two-bedroom cottage makes you feel at home in its rustic barn-themed space.

You will walk in and feel immediately at home. The first bedroom provides a queen size bed featuring a coil-wrapped spring core and gel-infused mattress. Pull up a chair to the desk and write a letter home, or pile up and watch TV on your 43 inch LED Smart TV - complete with Netflix access!

Our second bedroom provides a king size bed featuring a coil-wrapped spring core and gel-infused mattress, as well as a 43 inch LED Smart TV with Netflix access.

Settle into the living room if you want to relax with your favorite show on Netflix or cable before bed or indulge yourself with a movie night in (there is a Redbox nearby!).

The kitchen includes a fridge, oven, toaster, microwave, and of course a coffee maker and coffee to fuel your time away. Your bathroom includes a unique barn-style water trough tub and rainfall shower head that promises to stoke your inner Pinterest creativity, plush bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover wipes, and a hair dryer. Our hope is that you can just bring yourself, leave the little things to us, and enjoy a quiet retreat away.

Visiting us on a Saturday? Be sure to check out our local farmer’s market, located a mere steps from your front door, May through November.

Charming cottage
I stayed in the barn loft cottage for a month. The location was great with an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. My granddaughters loved visiting me there and spending the afternoon!

Absolutely amazing!
We absolutely loved the Cottage Barn Loft. It was so adorable and we felt like it was our home away from home. The amenities were what we needed. The beds were so comfortable. The barn decor was so cute. We highly recommend the Cottages to all our family and friends. We loved just walking out our door to the amazing Summerville town. It reminds us of a Hallmark movie. All the stores are lovely and the restaurants are incredible. Of course our favorite is the Frothy Beard brewery. We always have to go there when we are visiting. Thank you so much Lauren for taking such good care of us. We love the Charleston South Carolina area. Our son lives in Summerville with his beautiful wife and our handsome grandson. We highly recommend the Cottages. Many blessings and Love! The Jacobsen’s.

Unusual, but cute!!
Barn Loft was cute, quiet, clean, furnishings were eclectic!!! The "shower" presented a bit of a challenge for entering and exiting. Beds were comfortable, but glad I brought my own pillow. After a long day touring, were glad to veg out with Roku. The main parking lot was a bit dark (time change no help). May we suggest some motion lights positioned close to ground, so not to bother neighbors. Give the place a 4.5 ****.* Owners were great to work with!!

Hey there! My name is Justin. Along with my beautiful wife Megan, we own/operate this Airbnb with the goal of providing a unique experience for each and every guest. Our mission is to ensure your stay is one that you will remember fondly for a lifetime!

In addition to the two of us, our family consists of Finley, Jhett, and Gray. You can often find us traveling together with family and friends or enjoying our small town by walking through downtown or the Farmers’ Market every Saturday.

Above all else, we're about family. And memories. When those two things collide, we're at our happiest!

Why they chose this property

Our family has called Summerville home for over a decade. We absolutely love downtown Summerville. We feel that it's still a bit of a secret to everyone else just how special this little town is, but the word is getting out fast! We love that Summerville is only a quick 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston, and just over 30 minutes to the surrounding beaches, yet has it's own thing going on. We love the cafes, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, unique gift shops, etc. that this little gem has to offer.
