This beautiful lumber house - originally fr 1750 and carefully rebuilt in 2010 - is situated on the sunny side of Resarö, Stockholms archipelago, only 200 m from the beach, 6 min from Vaxholm and 35 min by car from Stockholm.

The house is approximately 280m2 with 4 bedrooms, fire place, a spacious sunny lounge (80m2) with high ceiling combined with fully equipped lovely country kitchen, a large furnished balcony facing west, 25 square foot bathroom with bath and shower and relax.

The 2000 m2 property is set in beautiful surroundings with horse paddocks and only 200 meters to two bathing places and a boat jetty. One of the bathing areas is ideal for children, with beach, jetty and playground.

Walking distance to supermarket, beach, local restaurang, tennis, boule and football ground.
The bus stop for buses heading to Stockholm and Vaxholm, is situated just 100 meters from the house.

At your disposal: a barbecue, different games (soccer goal, sandbox etc), kayak and bikes.

This is a fabulous spacious house to stay in, situated in a beautiful spot. The house is a home so comes equipped with anything you may need (from excellent cooking equipment to bikes) and is within 5 minutes walk of two lovely swimming areas. Resaro is a lovely quiet island, but has easy access to the busier Vaxholm and from there to Stockholm center and other places further afield.Our family of four (children of 19 and 22) loved our stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastiskt hus och läge

Vi trivdes otroligt bra i detta vackra hus! Mycket unikt hus med barnanpassade saker/aktiviteter och nära bad! Vi fick snabb återkoppling av värden vid frågor och allt var väldigt smidigt. Vi saknar redan huset och platsen, man blev lätt en del av det och kände oss som hemma.

Perfekt hus för trevligt umgänge

Huset var perfekt för oss, 4 mammor och 4 bebisar. Bra utrymmen att dra sig tillbaka och fantastisk övervåning för umgänge! Huset var mycket väl utrustat både ute och inne med det lilla extra. Vi kommer definitivt komma tillbaka!

Schweden von seiner schönste Seite!

Das 1789 erbaute Haus von Emma und Lars war einmalig! Es wurde mit Liebe zum Detail renoviert und ganz liebevoll und sehr persönlich eingerichtet. Ein Traum! Emma und Lars waren super Gastgeber, die wir allerdings nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben. Sie wohnen zwar dort. stellen ihr Haus aber in den Ferien Gästen zur Verfügung. Die Kommunikation lief komplikationslos über PN und Telefon. Wir haben auf alle Fragen direkt und ausführliche Antworten erhalten. Die Lage war ebenfalls toll. Nahe an Vaxholm, nahe an Stockholm und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Eine Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vor der Haustür. Der kleine Strand und der Hafen sind zu Fuß oder mit den Fahrrädern vom Haus erreichbar. Wir können das Haus vor allem Familien mit Kindern nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Schaukel im Wohnbereich war der Renner bei unseren Kids. Super zum Schwimmen, Angeln, Kanu fahren, Stockholm und die Schären entdecken. Zu gerne würden wir nochmal wiederkommen! Viele Grüße, Christiane

Big old house with character in a famous location

We were in early August for 1 week with 4 people in the beautiful house on Resarö. We felt comfortable there immediately, because the old house has a very special charm through the loving restoration. You can only find something like this in old houses. The equipment is very good, especially in the kitchen there is a huge selection of pots and pans. If you like to cook yourself is very well cared for, especially because there are also many spices and other ingredients. The gas stove works well. In the otherwise large living area there is a small cozy corner with music system with turntable and lots of CD, s and records. If you like making your own music, you can sit in the room next door to the piano, I have spared my family and did not do that! There is something to discover everywhere in this house, it does not get boring here. At night it is absolutely quiet and the beds are comfortable, a little bit too soft I think, but it is only my opinion. The location is very good, the bus stop for the bus to Stockholm and Vaxholm is really close. The bus runs 2 times an hour throughout the day. Very convenient. We bought a weekly ticket. The shop down the street has a very large selection and very good opening hours. The support by Emma, Lars and Anders was very good and uncomplicated.

Charmantes, grosses Haus mit Seele und Ruhe!

Waren mit fünf Kindern drei Wochen in den Sommerferien! Und haben das alles sehr genossen! Tolle Lage auf der ruhigen Insel! Badestrand nur 200 Meter entfernt. Busanbindung direkt nach Stockholm und Vaxholm. Hatten Monatskarte, kein Auto! Sehr entspannter Urlaub. Einfach nur grossartig.

Prachtig huis met mooie ligging

Het huis is prachtig en heeft mooie details qua inrichting. De bedden slapen heerlijk. Je bent zo in Stockholm en kunt in de omgeving (Vaxholm) prachtig wandelen. Wij waren er met kerst. De sneeuw was sprookjesachtig. Helaas hadden we veel problemen met de verwarming (boiler) waardoor het water lauw of koud was. Lekker badderen in de prachtige badkamer of gebruik maken van de grote regendouche was hierdoor niet prettig.

Great house !

The house is great with a perfect emplacement near to the sea. It's a really calm and cosy place to stay. A bus just next to the house held us to Stockholm Center. We used the canoë and the bikes of the house and had a lovely time here ! Lars and Emma were really nice and make everything they can to make our stay perfect. I trully recommand this house if you want to enjoy Stockholm and the place around.

Close to Stockholm but away from it as well

The House on Resaro close to Vaxholm is a great family house that is very well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxed holiday. There are lots of rooms and little corners where you can hide away with a book and some nice music, but there is also space to spend time with a large family as a group. There a bicycles and a canoe with the house so our 2 sons did not get bored. Also of course because there was good Wi-FI The hose is very conveniently located is you like to go to Stockholm by bus or passenger ferry. And after a busy day in Stockholm it is lovely to get back to the house and sit on the deck and relax Lars and Emma will make sure that you will know what activities you ca do in the area and if you need them they respond immidiately. We stayed at the house for 9 days and we were sorry we had to leave. I would recommend the house to everyone who likes space, peace and quiet but also likes to make city trips

Wonderful Property in a Great Location

We had a great experience and vacation at this wonderfully charming home on the beautiful island of Resarö. The owners were gracious and very helpful in making lease arrangements and offering guidance about getting around, as well as things to do for our family and children. The property and house have great amenities and recreation for adults and kids alike and its proximity to the island of Vaxholm and Stockholm make it an ideal location. Can't recommend highly enough!

Charmant séjour dans cette maison magique

La maison correspond exactement au descriptif. La maison était très propre et bien rangée. Le contact est très simple avec les propriétaires et nous nous sentions chez nous à peine arrivés. Cette maison admirablement restaurée possède une atmosphère magique tout en étant très facile à vivre. Nous avons utilisé le barbecue, les vélos, le kayak, profité de la petite plage à proximité. Mention spéciale pour la collection de vinyles que nous mettions tous les soirs. Il y a une superette à 2 minutes en voiture. L'île de Resaro où est située la maison est très jolie et proche du port de Vaxholm où nous prenions le ferry pour rejoindre Stockholm par exemple.(le trajet en ferry parmi toutes ces îles vaut à lui seul le voyage) Nous avons également loué une voiture à l'aéroport pour le trajet aller retour à Resaro, les courses, les trajets à Vaxholm. En tout cas un séjour exceptionnel!
