The Villa VIOLETTE
Come and enjoy the superb sunsets over the Caribbean Sea and exceptional natural sites from this magnificent independent villa with private pool located in the town of Pointe-Noire, on the west coast of Basse-Terre.

Living room:
Guests can relax in the elegant lounge, which has a library, TV, DVD player and CD player.

Cooked:
The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need to prepare your meals, including a stove and a coffee machine.

Terrace & Garden:
The furnished terrace has a barbecue. The house is surrounded by greenery and a lush enclosed garden.

Bedrooms:
In the evening, you will have a good night's rest in one of the two air-conditioned bedrooms or on the comfortable sofa bed in the living room. One of the bedrooms has a double bed while the other has twin beds. A baby cot is available on request. The double bedroom has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Another similarly equipped bathroom is also available.

Please note that linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included in the rental price.

Exit cleaning is optional. However, cleaning must be done for your time out. If you wish to choose this option, you can do so when booking.

Located in the heart of Basse Terre, the city of Pointe-Noire will allow you to discover the dense and humid forest of Guadeloupe, one of the most beautiful forests of the Lesser Antilles where more than 300 species of trees and shrubs, 90 species of orchids, 250 ferns.

Numerous rivers abound giving rise to cascades and translucent pools of water which have earned Guadeloupe its nickname Karukéra which means Ile aux Belles Eaux!

Space open to all with a network of 200km of trails (called tracks in Guadeloupe) facilitating close contact with nature.

Pointe Noire is also the ideal starting point to discover the underwater depths of Guadeloupe since the Cousteau Reserve stretches from Pointe Mahaut to Pointe Lezarde via Ilets Pigeon, located 15 minutes by boat from the Club de diving "les Baillantes Tortues", based on the fishing port of Baille-argent.
This diving club offers daily outings in small groups for all levels to discover the richness of the seabed while preserving it. Possibility of diving stay consult us.

A refundable deposit of € 600 by uncashed check will be due upon arrival.

Great cottage in the hills

The property was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the large patio and even though the pool is small it was quite refreshing. The view of the sea isn't quite like the picture as a good part of it is obscured by the owner's home, which is directly behind this cottage. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Carole que nous remercions pour ses conseils, sa gentillesse, son sourire. La localisation était parfaite pour rayonner sur Basse Terre (et aussi sur Grande terre meme si nous avons largement preféré Basse Terre). Le gite offre une belle vue. La végétation est magnifique et il y a plein de petits oiseaux pour vous accompagner pendant le petit dejeuner. C'était tres agreable. Ideal pour 2 couples ou 1 famille.

Carole et Patrick sont des hôtes très agréables. La famille a apprécié leur extrême gentillesse. Très discrets et présents à la fois, toujours de bons conseils d'excursion, randonnées, visites ou restaurants, de recette cuisine créole etc. La maison est parfaite, conforme à la description et aux photos. Nous avons séjourné pour une semaine dans la « villa violette » de Patrick et Carole. Cette location est spacieuse, bien équipée, et la vue sur mer est imprenable. Pointe-Noire n’est pas la plus grande ville du coin mais elle a l’avantage d’être très bien placé pour découvrir Basse-Terre. Mention spéciale au hamac avec vue sur mer ! Patrick et Carole sont des hôtes discrets mais très attentionnés. Arrivée et départ se sont passés sans encombre, à nos horaires. Durant le séjour, j’ai eu un accident de plongée. Carole s’est proposée pour m’amener directement chez le médecin (il était tard) et nous avons tourné jusqu’à en trouver un. Encore merci pour ça, des gens comme vous sont de plus en plus rares. Une location à recommander sans hésitation.

Carole et Patrick discrets et attentionnés savent mettre parfaitement à l’aise leurs hôtes. Ils sont d’excellents ambassadeurs de toutes leurs Belles Iles et ne sont pas avares de conseils pour faire découvrir l'histoire, la culture et les nombreux sites à visiter de leur région. Leur confortable Villa en bois surplombant Pointe Noire avec une belle vue sur la Mer des Caraïbes est le point de départ idéal pour visiter la Côte sous le vent de Basse Terre. Un très agréable séjour dans ce site très authentique et tranquille qui nous a donné envie de revenir un jour en Guadeloupe.
