Gorgeous and completely furnished 2nd floor studio apartment with deck overlooking a peaceful lake in Maine. Tucked up high in the trees with beautiful sunsets. Relaxing and rejuvenating space in winter, spring, summer and fall. One bedroom, with queen bed, full bath with spa shower and steam and futon in living room that sleeps two. Kitchenette, including washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, convection/toaster oven, and 2 burner electric hot plate. Studio includes radiant floor heat, a/c, and wi-if. Access to lake and over 800 feet of water frontage. Great for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and paddle boards, no jet skis. Close drive to coastal towns, Camden, Rockport and Rockland. Less than 10” from Camden Snow Bowl recreational area, as well as, several hiking trails. Access to snow mobile trail is located on property. Grounds are beautifully landscaped parking is available on site. Come unplug and relax in nature amongst the beauty and tranquility of everything that mid-coast Maine has to offer.

Lovely stay

Wonderful studio in peaceful location. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bedding. Great base for our day trips to Monhegan Island, Camden and Rockland. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful location

This is a cheerful, clean and very comfortable place to stay. Having the lake so close is amazing for swimming. We had a great time. Kathleen was very nice and accomadating.

Perfect quiet spot near Camden

We couldn’t be happier with our little apartment! In the woods, quiet and relaxing. Beautiful space. Our host thought of everything! We highly recommend staying here!!!

Peaceful place

Quiet, tasteful, pleasant place just 2 mins walk from lake with great kayaking. Good kitchen and TV. Shower needs a strong hand to turn on and off.

Nice clean apartment

Great little apartment near a small lake. Very clean. Less than thirty minutes to Rockland, Rockport and Camden. It feels secluded, but has a grocery store in the cute town of Union 5 minutes away. Would stay again.

Gorgeous

Nothing but good things to say. Camden is great and an easy drive. Lake is 2 min walk for delicious swimming. Unit v comfortable and spacious. Fabulous experience.

Charming little bungalow!

Kathleen & crew were so very helpful during our stay at this gorgeous studio apt. It was a bit warm in the bedroom but in the main room was colder A/C. The shower was an experience and the warm wooden beams were delightful in the main room. Would recommend.

Best VRBO rental we've ever had!

This VRBO rental exceeded expectations. Despite being attached to the owners' residence, privacy wasn't an issue. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable, with a great deck view. The loft was cozy, and the kitchen well-equipped, including a washer and dryer. Little touches like coffee and chocolates were appreciated. Great location near Camden, Belfast, and Rockport. Solid choice for a getaway.

Lovely rental and host

Kathleen's rental is so attractive and lovely with many thoughtful amenities that make for a comfortable stay - great coffee, steam shower, a basket of wash cloths, private entrance, plants, beautiful high ceilings, skylights, and lighting. A lot of care goes into assuring a great stay. It's perfect for a couple. The location is awesome - close to Rockport and Camden where there are plenty of great restaurants - Salt Wharf in Camden for one! It felt like a home away from home. A+ host and apartment.

Great Private Getaway

Our stay was wonderful. Located very close drive to Camden or Rockland on a beautiful tranquil lake - away from the traffic congestion. It checked all the boxed for the description. I wish we had had more time to rent a boat and play on the lake. Exceptionally clean with all the amenities+ some. The host was barely there but responded quickly to any question.

Cozy and clean

Kathleen is a wonderful host, answers immediately and was happy to help with anything. The studio is large and cozy and spotless! It was an easy drive to everything we wanted to do. Wonderful apartment!

We have been looking for a place to stay so we could visit family in Waldoboro and this apartment fit the bill! It had EVERTHING we needed, lacking nothing at all! The kitchen was fully equipped, although we didn’t have the opportunity to use it, the bed was comfy and there were many other thoughtful amenities. It felt like home! Our hostess was wonderful, answered our few texts right away. We will definitely be back!

The property is just as listed. Owner was responsive ( although we did not meet) and gives you plenty of privacy. One suggestion is to have one more comfy chair so a couple can watch TV and relax.

Quiet Maine Studio in the Woods

My wife and I came up for a four-day weekend to get away from the noise and chaos of our house being remodeled. And get away from constant lawnmowers and leaf blowers in suburbia. The apartment was cozy, appointed well, and had everything we needed. Kathleen and her partner were extremely welcoming, kind, and accommodating. We had a great time and we will be back.

Mother/daughter visit

Simply a lovely place and location for two women who wanted a quiet space but also within easy driving distance from a local town and some sight seeing. Impeccably clean, delicious art work. and my favorite; sky lights that filled the rooms with sun. Gorgeous houseplants added a lived in touch. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Lovely, warm, light filled, private

Our “studio” was more of a large one bedroom unit with high ceilings, many windows and sky lights, wood floors, comfy bed, charming place. It was spotlessly clean, very private and exceeded all of our expectations. It was a great location to explore the many areas of central coast. Our favorites: Camden and maine botanical gardens. The weather was not great and if it has been we would have enjoyed a splash in the lake which is a very short walk to the owners private dock. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this property and they owners.

Perfect for our family

We had a fantastic stay at the is rental in Hope. Our family of 4 (kids 2 and 6) fit comfortably and had everything we needed. This a very well built home and was incredibly cozy with fresh plants and warm fixtures throughout. It is an easy walk down to the lake. Would have been easy to swim off their dock but we chose to go to a local shallow sandy spot near Camden given young kiddos. Beds were comfortable. May want to bring black out shades if needed especially for the pull out bed in the living room. We used eye masks so it was no Issue for our crew except the toddler! There are plenty of games but not necessarily toys or such if kids are young so will want to bring that. We were visiting family in the area and this was easy 20min drive to so many destinations! We definitely will stay here again!

Lovely Space

This was our second stay with Kathleen. The space is cozy, quiet and well cared for. We love the location because it is quiet and feels centrally located for travel to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden. Kathleen was so accommodating when we needed to adjust our check-in time. A great place to re-charge and the fall foliage is beautiful!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay. Kathleen was responsive and helpful w info prior to our arrival. Once we got there everything was as described. The space was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the eggs from their chickens were delicious! We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Awesome, highly recommend

Hosts were awesome, very clean and spacious for 2 guests. We were able to visit Acadia National Park, area towns, and Cape Elizabeth were all within an hour and 45 minutes away.

Peaceful interlude

We were busy in town. Kathleen’s place provided a very relaxing, stress-free location to retreat to that was very close to Rockland. The place is beautifully decorated with all of the comforts that we needed. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
