About this property

Seasonal conveniently located Family and Pet-friendly Lakefront Cottage.

Glamping! We are open from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day weekend. It's a small open concept cabin that is perfect for 2 couples or a family. 1 clean and dressed full sized bed in each room, a couch and the loft has a full size mattress. Good for children and small adults. The loft is accessible by ladder that is released from the beams above. Each bedroom has a bureau for clothing storage and a fan. The bathroom has a lake fed single standup shower and toilet. Towels are provided. The kitchen has a small 4 burner stove with an oven, microwave, half size fridge, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder and all the dishware and pots that are needed. Inside table seats 4 and a 6 person picnic table sits just outside. Drinking water dispenser is provided. Bright, sunny, rustic lake front with fire pit and hammock. This is a very relaxed, fun, and safe place to have a good time. It's a cottage on a lake. Owner on site. (Lakeside glamping at its finest) A wicked good time for all.
4 Adult maximum. $35 per extra persons. Can sleep 5 and 1 on the couch.
This is Maine in the summer. Bring bug spray if you are prone to bites. There is a gas grill and firewood. Yes, you can use the kayaks and paddle boards. Life jackets on site.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was clean and all our needs were met. Communication with Stacy was great! We had two nights with a cozy fire by the lake! Obi the orange cat was our greeter! He made us feel at home. Fire wood is provided for the outdoor fire pit too. Kayaks and paddle boards are also available for use. Cottage is close to many shops and restaurants. We highly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy a Maine adventure!

The cottage is located near so many different types of activities and dining options. It is very relaxing hanging out on the pond and enjoying nature. We had everything we needed and our hosts are very accommodating.

Host was very welcoming and helpful. Location was ideal for a variety of hiking, shopping, and dining experiences. Accommodations were small but clean and very comfortable for 3 adults and a Golden Retriever. Spectacular sunset views. No television, but that was OK because we didn't really miss it.

Beautiful, restful spot

The rustic cabin was just perfect for us on the beautiful pond. Our hosts were easy to get in touch with and were very responsive. We loved our daily visits from Obi the cat. The location was super convenient and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved it and we look forward to staying there again sometime!

Great little cottage on a nice small lake!

Although the weather was not perfect, we enjoyed much our stay in the cottage. We had fun kayaking and fishing and visiting all the seashore towns nearby.

Beautiful view from a cozy cabin

Beautiful lakeside views less than 10 min from downtown Rockland, 15 from Primo restaurant and 25 from owls head lighthouse. Stacey was very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here.

This cabin was cozy. It's a close and beautiful drive to the coastal happenings. Come evenings, it was so nice to get away from the "busy" coastal towns, to a quiet pond setting, surrounded with a family of ducks and some loons, who stay fairly close by, and quite entertaining. When we arrived, we were tired, and just wanted to get ourselves and our two indoor kitties settled in. Determined not to cook while vacationing, that first evening, we got yummy comfort food and had delicious homemade ice cream as well at a close by eatery called The Spot. :) Obi was the perfect host cat, very friendly. The weather was perfect. This pond and views were new to us and our two country fur babies, and we all enjoyed watching ducks and loons through the tall windows (The Nature Show). Kitties from the inside, and us from the lawn chairs outside. The cabin space was a bit of a challenge for us with two kitties, but very doable. Stacy and Radu were friendly, interesting, and just wonderful hosts, and made sure all our needs were met. We enjoyed meeting them. This cabin was a perfect getaway after a busy day of sightseeing.

My husband Radu was born and raised in Romanian. We are both Bartenders. We love meeting new people and sharing the beauty of this place with others. Why they chose this property

I grew up in the house and take pride in making it more beautiful every year. Its the most perfect place in Mid-coast Maine. My own little slice of heaven.

What makes this property unique

The lake is this house's main attraction. All things revolve around the weather and lake settings. The mornings are serene and calm perfect for paddle boarding. In the evenings the sun sets in between the two mountains directly across the lake. There is always a lite breeze and loons to fall asleep to. The sound of the brook running through the property will lull you to bed at night.
