This quant, cozy cottage was the perfect place to celebrate my Nana’s 82nd birthday! We had plenty of room for our family, ages ranging (3-82). We enjoyed the closeness of the beach, board games and puzzles, open concept, large living room window views, and back porch rocking. The kitchen was fully stocked which made our late evening dinners super easy. The storage room for our beach equipment was an added bonus to easily clean, store, and lock up after a day at the beach. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for something simple and easy for your beach vacation!

Lovely spot
The weather didn’t cooperate for us while we were there so we spent 2 days inside. This house needs some repairs but the location was great with the ocean right outside your door. Our first stay at Oak Island and we enjoyed it despite the cool windy weather.
Property was as expected. Good location with beach access. 3 things stoping from 5 star rating.1. Bed was uncomfortable and springy.2. Outdoor shower did not work.3. Smoke alarm went off randomly one night for 10 min.
The good: location and view. Fantastic! Plenty of room. The not so good: overhead kitchen light/fan didn’t work. Blinking light in attached bathroom. LR furniture is beyond worn out! It’s like sitting in a hole. Lumpy beds.

Disappointing
Knew weather could be iffy. Picked home for view from living area. Huge picture window. Couldn’t see out window seal broken and fogged between pains. Rotten window sills. Our wedding anniversary and really disappointed. Bathroom doors would not close for privacy flooring warped to not close. Where parked car under house sewer pipe leaking. We beach house rent often. Really misrepresented
Have pictures. Owner should be told
The Boys Oh Boy beach house was excellent. My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. The only thing I would offer is to make turning on the TV's a bit easier. Maybe have some detailed instructions as it was a bit complicated with two different remotes. But besides that, it it an excellent place to stay.
