Cozy and lovely private Wasaga vacation cottage/home, fantastic location walking distance to sandy beach 2, the world longest fresh water beach, minutes to beach 1 and short drive to Blue Mountain Resort. close to shops, year round activities. Large and spacious sleeps 16 comfortably to a maximum of 20 (2600 SQ FT).

There is a fire pit on the property for late night fire, and for hot dog and marshmallow roasting

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Recycle waste accordingly, Black lid cart for garbage - Blue lid cart for Recycling - Green Cart for food waste. Carts are located in the driveway by Garage Door.
If staying on Sunday night, host may request from guests to take out the carts to curbsides, Mondays are waste pick up days.
Limited garbage/waste are allowed based on the length of reservation.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

A short stay in Wasaga!

Good location, clean inside, but behind the building was much stink door because they had put some bags of old food garbage inside the garage!

The garage you are referring to is isolated from the house and not accessible to guests, it was just waiting to be cleaned and it was after you checked out but of course this had no impact on your stay. Very nice spot, some details should be improved.

We were 8 adults and 8 kids. Really nice location close to quiet and beautiful beach. Large kitchen and living room, perfect for us. Bedrooms were clean but not enough beds for everyone (needs to sleep on mattress or in living room if more than 10). Missing some dishes and knives, no kitchen and restroom towels, lots of aints in the kitchen, main fridge broke during our stay (but hopefully has been repaired the day after), backyard was not cleaned so we did not use it. Really limited garbage permitted. Lots of potential but needs some extra care.

Thanks for your feedback Simon, glad to hear you enjoyed your time and liked the property since it accommodated your large group. My profile clearly indicates how many beds there are in bedrooms and how many can sleep in common areas. And the same applies to Towels, it clearly indicates that towels are not included, and that limited garbage to be left behind, not sure if you were aware of them at the time of booking! Unfortunately the fridge was not working properly when you checked in but we had it repaired almost immediately. I will look into your feedback and will improve where needed. thank you.

This is my private vacation home where I use it for myself and family, we spend time in the summer and winter for all different activities.
Wasaga is a great area for all ages, you will find all kind of activities from swimming, walking on the beach, kayaking, boating and of course skiing in the winter season which is only a 20 minutes drive to Blue Mountain.

What makes our property special is the combination of space, comfort, and location. The cottage sits on a large lot, giving guests plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded.

It’s also a great choice for families with children, with a spacious and secure outdoor area where kids can run around and play while adults enjoy the surroundings. There is ample parking for approximately 4–5 vehicles, making it convenient for larger families or groups travelling together.

Another major advantage is the location. We’re conveniently close to the beach, local shops, restaurants, and other attractions, so you can enjoy the best of Wasaga Beach without spending a lot of time driving.
