Beautiful property and amazing views

The location is absolutely stunning. We have a very relaxing vacation just sitting on the deck in the evenings and hot tub. The city is absolutely gorgeous and we had plenty of places to see and be entertained during the day.

Beautiful home!

We loved our stay here and can’t wait to return. It was the perfect place for our family of 4. The house is at the top of a hill and it’s a windy, 1 lane road to reach it. The views are gorgeous!

Great spot for a quiet getaway!

Chalet Quietude couldn't have been better! The house is in a private setting, but close enough to downtown to easily grab dinner or stop by the Biltmore Estate. The hot tub and fireplace are great amenities as well. Make sure to get up early once or twice to catch a memorable sunrise!

Charming Chalet

My girlfriends and I spent a relaxing long weekend at Chalet Quietude. A great location, it is quiet and well appointed. Also a quick drive to Asheville. We enjoyed our tour of the Biltmore and kayaking the French Broad River. This is a beautiful home and we hope to return again soon.

Wonderful Weekend Get-Away

The house is beautifully maintained with all the amenities needed. The view and location were wonderful! Within a short drive, we enjoyed Asheville, the Biltmore and beautiful hikes. There were only two of us, but we could have easily had more in the house.

We had a perfect stay at the chalet, we'll definitely be back

The chalet location feels very remote, but it's not far from civilization. The privacy and amenities were exactly what we were looking for, and we had everything we needed. The driveway is very steep and narrow, just something to be aware of. We'll definitely plan to return.

Wedding weekenders

We had a great time at this property. It was in a great location and had a great view! The hot tub was a plus for sure. Everything was clean and we felt right at home. We had all traveled 8+ hours for a wedding in Asheville and we were close to everything we needed! Would stay at one of Breas properties again!

As Gem Tucked Away on a Mountain Road

The propery was perfect, along with the communication provided us. Brea does a wonderful job covering all the bases, making going to a place you've never been before an easy experience. The Chalet is perfect, with all of the amenities, and the views are spectacular!! A perfect base camp for a perfect vacation!

Perfect spot for a weekend retreat

The Chalet Quietude was the perfect cabin for our girls' mountain weekend retreat. The accommodations are fabulous, the views from the deck are beautiful and the hot tub is wonderfully relaxing. The location provides privacy and solitude, but is convenient to Biltmore Village and Asheville. We even enjoyed a wonderful hike of Arrowhead Mountain from a trailhead very close to the cabin. Thanks to Brea for her amazing hospitality - we could not have asked for better accommodations.

perfect quiet mountain house

We enjoyed our week. The house is very comfortable and convenient to many attractions. Brea has thought of everything - including homemade laundry detergent! I recommend making a meal plan and a complete shopping trip so that you can enjoy the house without having to go down the mountain.

Secluded beautiful home

This home was very nice and well kept. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay! The view was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and Brea was such a pleasure to work with. She really takes hospitality to the next level. The thing I enjoyed the absolute most was watching the hummingbirds and butterflies every morning. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Perfect weekend get away!

Our host, Brea, was excellent. She communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. The home was well lit, clean, and very inviting. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrobes were a nice touch! The driver recommendations that Brea provided really were appreciated. The home has all the amenities that one could want in weekend get away!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. House was well equipped with everything we needed for a family of four adults. We enjoyed mornings on the deck and the hot tub at night. There is a drive from the main road to the house so we would plan our days accordingly so we didn't have to make multiple trips to town. So peaceful and beautiful.

Fabulous escape

In 2000 I had plans to move to Asheville from Houston. Events in my life changed those plans. My draw to Asheville did not change. I continued to think about living there, but knew that with my business in Houston, that I could not leave. It was suggested that I purchase a home and spend a lot of time in Asheville. That sounded good to me. So, in 2006 I purchased my chalet. As I thought about it sitting empty for extended periods of time, I decided it was better to share it. At that time, I did not know the term 'vacation rental'. I did some investigating and found out how to do it. I loved sharing my beautiful chalet with others.

Why they chose this property

I love Asheville. It brings joy to my heart to be in the mountains. Asheville has everything and the best part is that nothing is extreme. The weather is not extreme, the mountains are not extreme. It is gentle, inviting and there is plenty of variety in things to do here. You can hike (my favorite), fish, golf, shop, eat, sight-see, go on adventures, see wildlife, swim, be a kid again at Sliding Rock, ride your motorcycle on the Blue Ridge and on and on.

I love staying at Chalet Quietude. It is cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Butterflies and hummingbirds love it there too. The location is beautiful, and the mountain is covered with forest. Driving up to the chalet in summer, you wonder where the other homes are. It is so close to town, yet just far enough away. I named it Chalet Quietude because it is so quiet here. The day I purchased it, I could hear nothing - not a mower, not a dog, not a siren, no traffic - NOTHING...just the QUIETUDE. The quietude surrounds you and you just might forget you have a home to return to! That's how I feel - 'It is the life' and when I am there, I don't want to go home.
