We had a fantastic stay with a large house for all 9 of us. The view of Burt lake was gorgeous. It’s close to skiing and petosky which we took advantage of too. Property owner and the property manager were both kind and friendly people to work with for our stay. We had a memorable time!
We so enjoyed our time in your beautiful home on Burt Lake! Thank you so much for having us and being so quick to answer any questions. Your home was the perfect venue for our family gathering, with plenty of space to spread out and a wonderfully stocked kitchen for making meals. We loved exploring the inland water way by boat and enjoyed using your firepit by the shore in the evenings. Thank you again for having us and we would love to return again next year!
Really enjoyed the house and the lake. We rented a pontoon boat for the week that complimented our time on Burt Lake. Kitchen is nice and big and plenty of rooms for all 11 of us to spread out and relax.
Really enjoyed our stay on Burt Lake! The home was very roomy and clean. Plenty of space for all.
The kitchen was well stocked and the second fridge was an added plus.
We took day trips to Petoskey and Cheboygan and other days we just chilled at the house lakeside or went to town just minutes away. Thanks again for welcoming us to your home.
My children and grand children had a great time at your home.
We swam, fished and enjoyed boating on Burt Lake. This is the fifth home I have rented on Burt or Mullet Lake and it was the best home in giving one the "Homey Feeling". It is a long climb from the water and maybe an alert could be given to
elderly individuals. A regular coffee pot would be nice.
The house is very accommodating- it is spacious and very welcoming. We had 3 families- 6 adults and 6 kids of all ages- we all had our privacy, plenty of beds and bathrooms. We cooked every night! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. We also loved the lake. We kayaked, fished, tubed, and swam. S’mores and a campfire happened just about nightly. We attended church at Cross in the Woods and day tripped to Mackinaw Island. It was a great vacation for all! Loved it and would stay again!!

So glad you had a great week! Love the cross in the woods. Would love for you to come back next summer!
The property was in a great location with access to the water, a dock, a screened atrium down by the lake with lots of beach toys and games, and plenty of parking in the driveway. The kitchen is supplied very well and there are plenty of sheets and towels. The two upstairs bedrooms are not air conditioned, which isn't an issue unless it is very warm in the evening. We would suggest having directions for the electronics since there were a number of remotes. All in all, we had a great time.
Home was clean and everyone said beds were comfortable. The layout was perfect for us. My youngest son was a chef and so all meals but one were cooked there. And the extra refrigerator was great. Kids loved the pool table. We spent most of our time at the waterfront playing badminton…hanging out on a large raft and boating. Everyone loved the location and we did the trip to Lk Huron. The only issue was the stairs, which I knew about and should have rented a golf cart.
Great house, filled with everything you need. Beautiful view of the lake, but is a little difficult to get to the lake for older people, because of the steep hill. Lake is HUGE and surprisingly quiet with very little boat traffic. Lake swimming area is a bit too rocky. Also, note that upstairs rooms are not air conditioned and was a little uncomfortable on hot evenings. Overall, this was a great rental.
The home was perfect for 2 families with 4 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms! Both the owners and property manager were very accommodating and responsive with questions. Loved the location on the lake as it was very easy to get to both Indian River and Harbor Springs. The kitchen was large cooking for the group and we loved how big the table was with the leaves.
I can understand why the owner has a golf cart to the lake as it is a very steep long walk to the beach— we just figured it gave us more exercise for all the extra cocktails we enjoyed! The extra fridge in the laundry room was great for drinks!
We would definitely rent again! Some of the things we did included a day at our favorite dunes at Wilderness State Park, rented a pontoon at Indian River Sports, dinner at Dudley’s Deck in Harbor, tubing on the sturgeon river and many rounds of golf!

Beautiful is right!
Pictures don’t do justice this Home met our expectations and much more, everything from the high ceilings, pool table, master room with master bathroom, large family room where the huge family could gather to the large kitchen where the large window outlooks to the Beautiful lake. Let’s not forget the calming seating next to the lake with the campfire at night. Home was well stocked and well maintained. Owners were very polite and quick to respond to any questions. At te least this is a definite repeat!

Born and raised in Ohio, we've been visiting the lake for several years. With family in the area, we wanted a retreat of our own -- a home away from home -- where we could make memories with our kids and grandkids.
Why they chose this property
The beauty of Burt Lake is undeniable. And the quaint towns nearby offer an immediate feeling of home.
