Our cottage is a clean 2 bed, 1 bath vacation home with room for six. Set amongst lofty pines in the quaint little town of Topinabee, it is an easy stroll from Mullett Lake -- part of Northern Michigan's famed Inland Waterway. A short drive away are Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Indian River's Cross In The Woods, the Boyne area ski resorts, Petoskey, and the shores of Lake Huron and Little Traverse Bay.

Very comfortable place, easy to get to Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Harbor Springs and Petoskey area. Kitchen is fully equipped, and there are plenty of towels for bathroom and kitchen use. Nice coffee maker.

Kitchen was well stocked. The cottage was a 20 minute drive to Mackinaw City. Secluded and quiet with a 15-20 minute drive from many towns. The house has a window AC unit but has fans in every room which my family appreciated! Would stay again!

Fabulous Family Cottage

This cottage is everything it promises to be and more! We absolutely loved the fire pit area! Family together time around the fire pit was priceless! This cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We were thankful for this blessing of a weekend. It drew our family closer together. Thank you so very much!

all the comforts of home, except the TV. We also have Roku and we don't memorize our passwords. No local stations, and IF I am thinking correctly, if we brought our own passwords to log on to a streaming platform, maybe we could have watched? but no big deal. What a great find!

The home had everything you could need for a stay. Everything was spotless and was overall a relaxing and enjoyable home to visit. The owner was very easy to work with and very pleasant to chat with!

The host, Kristi, was very nice to work with. The house is very well equiped/stocked with anything you could need. We enjoyed our stay. The rental is pet friendly, but we didn't end up taking our dog.

Loved our stay here, even better than expected

We loved the cozy cottage. It was just right for our family. There is so much to do in the area and the host was happy to give me recommendations when I asked. My 2 and 3 year old daughters loved having their own room with their own beds. The swing set in the back yard was definitely a bonus for our kids and kept them busy while we cooked and packed up. It was such a nice time. We would like to go back.

Very quiet and safe area

We were only there at night, but we felt like it was a very safe and quiet neiborhood. After sightseeing Mackinaw City and St. Ignace and Mackinac Island over a two day period, it was nice to come back to a quiet house and get some rest to go again. Thank you Kristi for sharing your home with us. After sightseeing across the Upper Peninsula, all we needed was a place to sleep and relax. Home is about 30 minutes away from Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. D'Wayne and Melissa Tennessee

Need local tv and radio

Outstanding home inside very clean and had everything you would need. Outdoors needs attention and cleaned up, grill is nasty, bring your own. Biggest problem is the T.V. issue, not fishermen or outdoorsmen friendly, Property owner did not have local channels to check weather or have regular daily programs, none stop news and old movies only, a radio would have been nice. Just needs a little more to be an excellent place to go.

We came out of town with my husband for his work. I work from home and the WiFi full provided quality service for all of my work and video calls. The house has all of those little things to support your stay. Fully stocked kitchen, cleaning items and more. Great location and would stay again. The livingroom ac made a huge difference, worth the upgrade. Being able to bring our dog is what sold us on it.

It was a nice and clean home. Kristi was readily available when I reached out for a question. The only downfall is we wish it was more clear that there was only one air unit in the living. It was 90 degrees while we were there and the rooms got quite hot. Overall a good stay!

Wonderful stay

We had a great time staying at Topinabee pines cottage. Pictures are accurate to current condition, location was great for being close to the water but off the path a little for some quiet, and it was very clean. Twin mattresses were comfortable, but I would recommend an update to the queen mattress. Other than that, it was great. I’m sure we’ll be back.
