The long Hubquarter Creek of Lake Gaston is ideal for all of the fun motorized or non-motorized water sports... or you can sit back and relax on the deck, dock or HOT TUB and take in the spectacular views of the big water!


The open, flat and spacious lot allows for an easy walk to the water from the house, and its location on a very wide creek provides ample distance between nearby properties and unobstructed views of the lake.

This newly remodeled cabin gives you an instant feeling of being on vacation as you step in! The dark wood beams on the soaring vaulted ceiling draws your eyes to the tall windows with unobstructed views of the lake from inside. The open floor plan is conducive for entertaining the whole family in one large space together! This one level house with high ceiling provides ease of mobility for guests of all ages.

For the all the cooks & grill masters... we've got you covered! Enjoy making all your meals outdoor with our new cooking area! Equipped with an outdoor sink, Weber grill, Blackstone griddle, burners, deep fry basket, large seafood boil pot & pizza stones

*** OUR PHILOSOPHY ***
Our goal is to do everything we can to ensure that every guest who stays at our home has a wonderful experience. We approach this by asking ourselves if we were renting a house for our vacation what would we want?

1) CLEANLINESS
Providing a clean house with clean furnishings is our top priority. We want our guests to feel comfortable and relaxed in our house, so we make every effort to make sure the property is clean and neat prior to your arrival.

2) BEDDING, LINENS & TOWELS PROVIDED
With beds and mattresses being varying sizes, bringing your own sheets to another property and hoping it fits is not the start we would want for our vacation. Plus, who wants to start off their vacation making beds? We provide clean linens, including sheets, double pillow cases, duvet covers & blankets that are all washed between each reservation. This is a value added service that we feel many of our guests appreciate.

All permanent beds are made prior to your arrival with sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers. We will also make the temporary beds upon your request. Towels for both bathing and outdoor activities are also provided.

3) HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
One of the perks of staying at a house versus a hotel during your vacation is having the “at home” atmosphere and the convenience of home. We do our best to provide cooking tools, small appliances & items to make meal preparation easy so you don't have to pack your house to go on vacation!

We offer special items such as:
- Espresso machine to make cappuccinos and lattes
- Pizza stones to cook your pizza in the oven or on the grill
- Large 60 quarts seafood boil pot with strainer
- Outdoor grill, griddle and burners

We also provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, laundry/dish washing detergent and dryer sheets.

4) TRASH PICKUP
One of the conveniences we offer at our property is trash pick so no need to take your trash to the dump!


*** SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS ***
This 3 Bedroom 2 bath home is a split floor plan with the master bedroom on one side & 2 bedrooms & sunroom on the other.

BEDROOM 1-
The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full size futon that can be converted to additional sleeping space.

BEDROOM 2-
The second bedroom has a queen size bed

BEDROOM 3-
The third bedroom has a queen size bed with an optional twin size bed set up. The twin bed can be stowed away for more space.

SUN ROOM / 4th BEDROOM-
The sun room is a flex room that can be used as a sitting room, office or be converted to a 4th bedroom. There is a queen size sleeper sofa & a 10ft daybed.

LIVING ROOM-
An inflatable queen size mattress is also available and can be set up in this large space.


*** BATHROOMS ***
Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion & hair dryer are in bathrooms.
BATHROOM 1-
Newly remodeled bath with single sink vanity & walk in shower. Located in hall adjacent to 2 bedrooms.
BATHROOM 2-
Newly remodeled double vanity with shower/tub. Located adjacent to master bedroom across the hallway. Hallway access to this bathroom can be closed off via lockable doors offering guests in the master bedroom private access to bathroom or bathroom can be shared.

*** OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE ***
Outdoor living is what it's all about at the lake! 1000sf of outdoor living space attached to the house allows everyone to spread out while enjoying views of the lake. Enjoy a cup of coffee or breakfast on the covered porch or deck! There’s also a space for conversational seating and a gas firepit table. The whole family can take a break from the water but still enjoy the outdoors in the large screened in patio. Relax and watch TV, take a break for lunch, or play a little ping pong in this large outdoor living area.


*** OUTDOOR FUN ***
For the more active individuals, play some corn hole, volleyball or badminton, or paddle down the creek on the kayak or paddleboard! There are 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem (double) kayak, and 2 standup paddle boards. For some relaxation on the water, lounge in the comfy floats or sun bath on the large 6'x18' floating water mat. Gather around the firepit at night to roast some marshmallow. (Long skewers are available.)


*** WATER SKIING, TUBING & WATER SPORTS ***
The property is located on a long, very wide creek that is ideal for water sports. Calmer water than the main lake, Hubquarter Creek is a haven for the water skiers & wake boarders. Relax on the dock as watch your water sport enthusiast go by! For those who prefer to enjoy the water at a slower pace, the perfect time to take the kayak or paddle board out on the lake is early in the morning or evening.


*** BOAT DOCK ***
The large dock is partially covered. It has a ceiling fan, stereo system and plenty of seating. Pair your smart device to the stereo system and play your music play list as you hang out on the dock. The boat lift will be occupied, but there is plenty of space along the dock with a 4 point tie up to secure another boat. 1 jet ski lift can be available for use upon request. The boat house is equipped with life jackets, fishing rods, floats & a refrigerator.

The water depth at the bulkhead is approximately 1.5-2 feet and is great for the little ones to wade in. Water depth at the end of the dock is approximately 4-6 feet.


*** MARINA & BOAT LAUNCH ***
The marina is located around the bend on the main lake, just a short 5 minute ride on water. Fuel up, grab a quick bite to eat, or listen to live music! Boat & jet ski rentals are also available.

There is a private neighborhood boat ramp at the end of our street which accommodates small to medium size boats & jet skis, but it may not accommodate all boat types. For some medium to larger boats, we recommend launching at the marina.


*** GROCERY, RETAIL & RESTAURANT ***
There are (2) Food Lion grocery stores located approximately 15-20 minutes from the property. One Food Lion is located in Norlina off of HWY 158. The other Food Lion is located in Littleton, across the bridge, near the Marina. This area offers other retail shops, restaurants, in additional to Ace Hardware, gas station & water sport rentals.

Enjoy lunch or dinner at Watersview Restaurant, located across the main lake and visible from the property, a short 5 min ride on water or a 20 min drive on land. Robinson's Ferry restaurant in Warrenton is another great place to dine.


*** BOOKING, MINIMUM STAY, CHECK IN/OUT ***
During the summer months, June-August, the minimum nights stay is 7. Check-out is 11am and check-in is at 4pm. Early check-in may be possible. Minimum stay during other months of the year is 3 nights. We *may* allow shorter minimum stay (4 nights) during the summer for booking. please inquire.

*** POLICIES & NOTICES ***
-Lease agreement will be sent to Renter after booking confirmation and must be signed within 72 hours after receipt.
- Minimum Renter age must be 28
- Provide a copy of a state issued photo identification.
-No events, parties, or large gatherings
-No pets

*** SAFETY, SECURITY & SURVEILLANCE ***
Please be mindful that the property located on a lake and the presence of animals, insects or creatures that may be dangerous is possible. Be aware of your surroundings and do not leave food outdoor. For our guest and property's security, cameras are present on the exterior front and back of property. To prevent the possibility of theft, please remove all valuables from your car.
