Moody beach is a beautiful walking beach, so as you can only imagine the terrific sunrises, quiet walks on the beach in the early morning or evening. If you travel with your pet they are allowed in our units….Yes we have PET FRIENDLY units and your pet is also allowed on the beach for those amazing walks by your side…..Nothing better to rejuvenate your soul than the smell of the ocean air and sand between your toes!
This is a duplex with two bedrooms. Master bedroom with a King, other bedroom with two twins. Unit has sleep sofa in living room. Has full kitchen, washer/Dryer, WiFI, Cable, front porch with ocean view, Heat, A/C, TV in each bedroom and living room. Fully supplies with all linens, pots and pans, Dishes utensils, BBQ on property for your use. This is a very short walk to the public beach access onto the private Moody Beach!

Sand dollar unit

Our stay in the sand dollar unit was great! It was very clean and even a little nicer than the pictures showed. A very short walk to see the ocean, just a couple minutes,and you can hear the waves of the ocean right from the front deck!

flip flop rental 546

when we arived at the flip flop rental , we found a no frills rental. clean bedrooms, bath, living and kitchen. though we found that making our own bed when we got there and having to warm the place up was a little off putting. we arrived after dark so it tokk a good long while for the rooms to heat up. other than that things went well. we found the local neighbores very welcoming and friendly. this is not the normal since we were renting. this was a plesant surprise. we also ran into a small issue of no water. though this was out of the owners controll, since there was a water main brake. so we did not have water for nessesities for a couple hours but by 8pm things were fine. we appreciated the tidal times listed so we could plan our walks on the beach. the sofa was unusable for me because it irritated my hip. I did notify the owner and she was prompt on responding that she would look into it. Over all we enjoyed our stay. the mark for property manager was low because there was no comunication at all. just direct with the owner.

Perfect weather

We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Two weeks of blissful weather and cool temps. Good location in relation to beaches, restaurants, and shopping spots. The cottage itelf is dated but comfortable. Overall, the interior could use a facelift.

Close to the beach and clean

We can't enjoyed our stay at the flip flop. We walked abnd the beach daily with our dog, visited local beaches and attractions and walked/biked all around Wells and Ogunquit. We'll be back, wish I were still there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sand Dollar and will be back! We could see the waves of the ocean from the kitchen and living room. With the window open at night we could hear the ocean. The private beach was lovely.

Absolutely everything we need in a beach rental

This property checked all the boxes for my family. If you are beach goers the public access to a private Moody beach is about a one minute walk to the right. Dogs welcome on property and on this beach was what got us here. The place itself was spotless and we are pretty particular about clean floors and dog hair - not a stitch. Laundry in unit. Adorable backyard with grills and picnic tables. So many restaurants and shops within a ten minute drive - downtown Ogunquit is a few minutes south and Kennebunkport is about 15 minutes north. The hannaford grocery is around the corner along with the wells lobster pound for great steamers and lobsters to bring home. Shelli was available immediately for a quick internet fix. Her and her husband are very friendly and available by call.text whenever you might need anything. Can’t beat the location.
