Also, the world-famous route for motorcyclist and car enthusiasts alike known as the Tail of the dragon and deals gap are only minutes away with world class riding and driving experiences. Only 4 miles to Townsend where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, river access, churches, horseback riding and river tubing, along with motorcycle and street legal UTV rentals. There are always activities at the visitor center like hot air balloons, club meets, lumberjack competitions or music festivals. There are so many wonderful things to explore, come stay with us and experience the very best the peaceful side of the Smokies has to offer. Embodying the essence of privacy, peace and quiet with an incredible view and convenience this property is unlike any other. Natural beauty of this property is truly impressive. I would say it is probably on par with the Great Smoky Mountains just over the back hill from the property. The house is located about 10–15 minutes from the entrance to the national park, and you do not have to drive through the busy downtown area of Pigeon Forge.The house itself is cozy and clean, and the host is extremely responsive. It has three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a jumbo-sized kitchen. It was a wonderful experience cooking while watching wild turkeys walk across the front yard.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for reasonable pricing, plenty of space, peace and quiet, and closeness to nature. One reminder, though: be sure to bring your own shampoo, since the house does not provide it.
