Loved this location! We had a great stay. The cottage is not air conditioned, but it's very shaded and with the fans provided it didn't matter. The WiFi is very spotty, but it's a rural location, so that wasn't shocking. We were close enough to Volcanoes National Park that we got there before anyone else was even at the summit, which was incredible. There were a few restaurants within driving distance, but we appreciated the host's caution that most places close early and it's best to get any groceries along the way in Hilo. We arrived in the dark were appreciative that the host gave us very specific directions and left a bunch of lights on so we could find our way. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location to HVNP. I think we clocked it as a 6 minute drive. The place itself was bigger than we expected and had everything you would need for a multiple day stay. The beds were super comfortable, the neighborhood was charming and there was a big back yard. We would absolutely, and hope to, stay here again.

Great stay

Excellent location. Very quiet and comfortable. Great mattresses! Very happy they allowed a single night stay-wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely return to this location in the future.
