Aimeluc cottage near Saint Emilion

We offer a cottage that we made in an old winery.

It consists of a living room with kitchen, a bedroom with 2 beds 90, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a large utility room with washing machine. Upstairs is a loft with sitting area (sofa bed) TV, DVD and a bed 120.

You have a small courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue, you can park your car easily in front of the housing.

Nearby, ie 800m lies the village of Artigues de Lussac where you can find our merchants, baker, butcher and grocer and a tennis court.

We are located 12 km from Saint Emilion, medieval city and famous for its wine, Bordeaux 35km and 90km from the Atlantic Ocean.

As winemakers we even we can, if you wish, introduce you to our business and our wine.

Nice Gite in a wine lovers paradise. Possible issue if you have kids as their bed is upstairs. Good kitchen and quiet village with very good Boulangerie.

Great gite, in a perfect location

We have had a lovely 10 days on Christine's gite, she was warm and welcoming and the bottle of their own wine when we arrived was very welcome after a 12 hour journey! The gite is perfect for a couple, the garden was completely secure for our dog and you are only 10 minutes away from everything. We hope to be able to come and stay again.

Friendly owners, nice location but needs an update

First of all, Christine and Friends and Family were very Nice and helpfull people. The location is also very Nice (but a bit further from Bordeaux then witten in the ad). So we had a good stay, but there are a couple of things we liked to know before our stay: -it smells a bit stale in the house -there tiger mosquito‘s in the yard, all day long -Bordeaux is approx 90 minutes drive away -The butcher had the best Merguez we ever tasted! -There’s this great aquapark in Libourne. -

Nous vous remercions de votre commentaire. Pour l odeur de renfermé je vais voir comment nous pouvons résoudre ce problème. Personne avant vous ne s était plein. J en suis désolée. Les moustiques, c'est difficile de les contrôler, surtout dehors. Par contre, le temps de voiture pour aller à Bordeaux dépend bien sûr du trafic. Si tout va bien 45mn suffisent mais de ce côté là aussi c'est indépendant de notre volonté. Cordialement. Christine

Lovely stay

We used this gite as home base for our travels around the area. Great central location for wine tasting, beautiful medieval villages and historic sites. Gite kitchen was adequately equipped and we cooked in many evenings. I will have to say that the furniture could have been a little more comfortable, the only sofa was a convertible sofa bed and was not great for lounging/watching television. We did appreciate the linens that were provided and the washing machine was a great addition considering we were there for 6 weeks. The only thing we were disappointed by was the exterior view, the picture provided in the listing indicated there was a vineyard view but unfortunately that was not the case. We appreciated the wine left for us and purchased additional bottles during our stay. Our hosts Christine, Manalo and Lucas were very kind and friendly. Christine was very understanding when I had to change our reservation due to a medical issue. This gite is very well set up for a small family. My husband and I love this area of France and hope to return soon.

Je souhaite vous expliquer au sujet que vous n avez pas vu de vignes autour de chez nous comme dit sur l annonce : Nous, les viticulteurs du Bordelais, traversons une grosse crise, sûrement la plus grosse à venir car c'est juste le commencement. Toutes les vignes autour de chez nous ont été arrachée cette année. Des hectares et des hectares de vigne. Les viticulteurs ne peuvent plus vivre de leur travail. Il est vrai que je n ai pas pris le temps de corriger ce " détail" sur mon annonce et je vais m en occuper. Vous avez bien fait de me le rappeler. Je suis désolée de vous avoir déçu à ce sujet mais tout s'est passé cette année, avant, nous étions bien au milieu des vignes. Je vous remercie de votre compréhension. Christine et Manolo

Nous avons passé un super séjour au gîte de Christine et Manolo ! Je recommande vivement, il est très fonctionnel, même pour une personne à mobilité réduite , notre chien se sentait vraiment bien dans le parc fermé ,et le parking ombragé personnel et un plus. Christine et Manolo nous on vraiment accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse en nous faisant déguster leur excellent vin. Bref,tout était parfait, il ne manquait rien ! . .

Au cœur des vignes

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances située au cœur des vignes, de belles balades avec nos 2 chiennes. Nous avons découvert le vignoble bordelais comme on le souhaitait. Par contre il faut prendre la voiture pour faire les courses, aller chercher le pain…. La boulangerie située à plus de 1kms est fermée.
