About this property
Magnificent Mountain Side~Recently Remodeled
NEWLY UPGRADED KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS, FLOORING AND BATHS! Located six blocks from downtown Frisco, Mountain Side is a highly desirable area and is known for having the best complimentary recreational facilities for guests. Soak those sore muscles from a long day of skiing, hiking, or shopping in one of four hot tubs. Romp with the kids in the large indoor pool. Melt all your cares away in the steam room or sauna. Challenge your friends to a game of tennis or racquetball. All these fun activities are yours to enjoy, at no additional cost and just steps from your front door!!!
'Colorado Rustic' is a good way to describe the décor in this 1680 square foot patio home. Old wooden skis, snowshoes, lodgey prints, and rustic mining artifacts adorn the walls. The use of warm earth tones and textures create a cozy ambiance.
The living room on the main floor is spacious and airy with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. The open kitchen and dining area makes an ideal gathering place to brag about who skied the steepest blacks or caught the biggest fish, while keeping the cook company! The dining room table seats six with extra seating at the counter bar.
Sink into the comfy couch or loveseat while being mesmerized by a roaring fire in the gas log fireplace. Relax on the deck and let a sense of wonder and peace surround you as you enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. The downstairs family room is perfect for those who want extra space, privacy or can't agree on what to watch on t.v.!
The large master bedroom on the upper-most level boasts a comfy, king-size, aspen log bed and TV. A full bath adjoins the master bedroom, as does a large, walk-in closet. The guest bedroom is on the second level and is almost as spacious as the master. It has a queen-size, aspen log bed, dresser, and large closet with connecting full guest bath.
The garden level boasts a separate family room complete with queen-sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress, 36' flat screen television, third bedroom, and full bath. The third bedroom has bunk beds (full on bottom, twin on top), chest of drawers, and a closet. Sofa sleeper and top bunk are not suitable for adults. This home also offers a full-size washer and dryer. The home backs to a grassy greenbelt. Across the street is a trail which will take you to Mountain Side's private stocked lake. No fishing license required!
Nearby, is the popular bike path that runs from Breckenridge to Vail. Past the bike path are wonderful hiking trails which take you past wetlands, beaver ponds, over mountain streams, through gorgeous groves of aspen, and even up to an old mining town, Masontown, which was wiped out by an avalanche. There's no need for a car to get to hiking, biking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing - it's in your backyard!

About the host
Hosted by Michele Egan

We live in Colorado and have always wanted a home in the mountains. Summit County is easily accessible from the Front Range and it's proximity to a wide variety of recreational activities is unsurpassed. The town of Frisco is quaint but still manages to offer diverse dining and shopping options and cultural/community events.
Why they chose this property
Frisco is central to all of the ski resorts and still has that 'small town' appeal. The town puts on several events throughout the year frequently closing down main street resulting in fun block parties that all ages enjoy.
The Mountain Side complex offers the best amenities. Most people will have to go to Silverthorne or Breckenridge Rec Centers and pay to enjoy the amenities we have for free!

What makes this property unique
Proximity to all five ski resorts, the bike path that goes from Vail to Breckenridge, and great hiking. The clubhouse at Mountain Side (especially the hot tubs) are enjoyed no matter what age you are and what season it is!
