Seaside Cape In Quiet Beach Community - Summer Rental Lord’s Point

This fully furnished cape features a bright, airy, open layout.

There is a large kitchen with center island and dining area opens up to a cathedral ceiling living room with fireplace. Dish washer, trash compactor and disposal are included. All linens and towels are provided. There is a half bath off the kitchen.

The bedroom off of the living room includes a new memory foam double bed and lots of bookcase storage, desk, and large dresser.

The front room is perfect for your home office with it's glass-topped desk, wireless 5G internet access and large display cabinet and bookcase. The livingroom features a Flatscreen 32' smart TV.

A spiral staircase leads to a large air-conditioned loft bedroom with Queen bed. The full master bath includes a washer & dryer off of the upstairs bedroom.

You'll have use of association docks, beaches, tennis court, recreation fields and facilities in the summer months.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets and the tranquil beauty of this lovely beach community. The docks and beaches provide an easy place to launch a Kayak or small boat. In the summer months, there are loads of activities for all ages including tennis lessons, bingo night, field sports night exercise classes and movie night to name a few-all included for free!

The house has a small yard with flower and water garden and a dry shed suitable for storing bikes.

Small well behaved dog considered with pet deposit.

Wonderful Getaway

My boyfriend and I just spent a week in this cottage. It was so romantic and cozy -- I even lit the fireplace at night in the middle of July! The neighborhood is very charming and quiet, and there's a nice little pier at the end of the street where we brought a bottle of wine and enjoyed the sunsets. All in all, a terrific place to spend your vacation.

Cape in Lord's Point

We loved this open cape for our vacation in Lord's Point! It had everything we needed, and the owner checked to make sure we didn't have any questions.. She even provided cable so that my husband could watch the Bruins in the Stanley cup. It was very private and had a nice little yard for our dog. We loved the neighborhood with many streets that lead to great water views. We plan on coming back next summer!!

Well appointed cottage

The cottage has everything one would need to spend a relaxing holiday in Stonington. Lords Point is a lovely community with many small beaches within east walking distance. There are so many wonderful restaurants and places to see within a very short driving distance. Susan is a wonderful host and is very quick to respond and communicate. Truly enjoyed every day at the cute cottage!

Rustic cottage in lovely Lords Point. While the location was ideal, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the cottage and the upkeep of the property (rotted windows, doors, lawn not mowed).

Quiet spot near the beach

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Susan's place. Lords Point is the perfect spot -- with access to some lovely private beaches and Mystic and Stonington Borough just quick drives from the house. It's a nice getaway for couples or families with small children. The house has everything you need!

Delightful Cottege Close to the Shore.

This cottage was close to the shore with amenities that make you glad to come back to it at the end of the day. Air conditioning, washer/dryer, a bath and a 1/2, loft bedroom with another bedroom on the first floor. A cozy living area open to the kitchen with a sitting area made breakfasts easy and preparing for the day's adventure a snap. There is a table right outside the back door making it pleasant for a morning cup of tea or coffee, with a fountain nearby for sound effects. The only thing that could be repaired is the wooden gate at the front whcih opens to the two spaces for parking.

Perfecr location!

I spent five weeks here as I just moved back to Connecticut and wanted to be at a shoreline town! This house was perfect! It was very comfortable and my cat loved hanging out on the spiral staircase! It is centrally located between Mystic and Stonington Borough and only half hour from the Rhode Island beaches! I walked evey evenng around Lords Point streets and even stopped to watch the sunsets on one of its benches! The owner is gracious very accommodating since I had to bring my cat with me! Thank you Susan for making my first weeks back home in Connecticut so memorable!

Very nice cozy place

We had a wonderful stay at the Lord's point cottage. It was cozy but there was still enough room to accommodate the two of us and our two teenagers. Kitchen was well equipped so that we could BBQ and not have to spend our vacation eating out out the time. It is a nice quiet beach community and short drive to Mystic and Rhode Island beaches. Nice area for bicycling too.

I grew up in Connecticut and love to sail and spend summers near the water. I purchased Prickly Pear Cottage in 1984 and feel in love with Stonington and the surrounding area and you will, too. John and I live in Stonington in the summer and in Essex, CT in the winter months with our two boys.

Why they chose this property

Lord's Point is one of the few truly friendly family beach communities in the area. We have summer programs for all ages that are free of charge to our guests.

Our community house, tennis court basketball court, bocci court and playground fields are safe and well maintained. People walk and bike to enjoy the several small beaches and docks on Lord's Point.

Our home is well equipped and comfortable. The area has so much to enjoy it's hard to know where to start!

Our local farmers market, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, the beaches of Watch Hill, fine dining and shopping.
