About this property

Villa with swimming pool in an authentic village of Center Var (Lorgues)

Our holiday home is located in Lorgues, village center Var, 40 minutes from the beach and gorges du Verdon. We appreciate the calm, especially in summer, far from the hustle and bustle of the coast, while enjoying the sea.
To change the pool, you can swim in the river (the Argens) or canoe down through the centers of canoeing that mark its course. In one of the wine estates, you will find a rope course.
The house is comfortable and suitable for children: new bedding, sunbeds and umbrellas are available.
You can find everything in the village: bars, restaurant, caterer, pharmacy, post office, bookstore, supermarkets, bank, cinema, market. It is a village that also lives in winter, without being overgrown in summer.
Wine lovers will feast: Lorgues has more castles that can be visited. Many picturesque villages are within easy reach: Villecroze (caves), Sillans (waterfalls), Sainte-Croix (lake), Cotignac etc.

Ruhige Lage und tolle Aussicht

Sehr schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht, ruhige Lage und allem Komfort. Außer dem Pool gab es noch eine Tischtennisplatte. Man konnte mehrere Tage im Haus verbringen ohne sich zu langweilen (besonders für Familien mit Kinder). Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Wonderful setting, perfect stay

Our welcome by Dominique and Pierre was very warm indeed. They'd bought provisions so that we could relax for a while before going to the supermarket, which was very generous. The house was perfect for our needs, and the pool was just right. Comfortable beds. Good showers. The AC had a bit if a struggle, but it was very hot weather. Good washing machine for people with young children, who like ice cream! The only real problem was the incline of the hill coming up to the property, the way the drive and the road joined. Our car was not happy when fully laden! We worked round this in the end. Smaller cars were fine. Lorgues town is beautiful and so is the surrounding countryside. There are many excellent restaurants and bars in town and I the market is amazing. All in all a wonderful holiday. We would definitely book with Dominique and Pierre again. Thank you so much!
