About this property

Summerland Guest Studio just steps to downtown and the beach! Dog Friendly.

Our ocean view studio is located one block to restaurants, the Red Kettle Coffee Shop, shopping and the beach. Our studio is furnished with a queen bed, sofa bed (full), bath w tub, view deck, TV, and off street parking. Dogs are welcome-max 2 dogs. ($75 flat rate/one time pet fee.)

If pet fee is not paid at the time of booking, it will be taken out of your deposit. $250 will be taken from deposit if more than 2 dogs are brought.
Total max occupants are 4 people. If more than 4 people stay in the rental, you will be charged the full $250 deposit and will be reported to VRBO .

The room itself was nice and well stocked. Good appointment to detail. It had nice views. Our concern was the double flight of stairs as both suffer from back issues. Would stay here again as my relatives live in a nearby town.

Perfect little place for a weekday getaway. Just one block from cute little shops & 10 min drive to downtown Santa Barbara. My dogs loved the easy access to the beach. D’Arcy was super friendly & very accommodating! Would definitely stay there again!

This was our first trip to the area, and we were traveling with a dog. We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend to avoid fireworks. This place was amazing from the location, communication with host, available parking, the clean room, and even refreshments in the room. This place is definitely a nice place to stay. It was located between Santa Barbara and Carpeteria, which a perfect location to visit both cities, but quite at night. We would stay her again the next time we are in the area.

This is our very first experience with VRBO n also our first visit at Summerland. We really enjoyed our stay and very impressed how clean and comfortable the place. Property is very clean and great for our small dog (plenty of floor space for bigger dog as well), love the beach decor, deck, and parking spot is GREAT! Plenty of coffee and fridge comes in handy. Main bed is very comfy. It's like a studio so even though I stayed with my college aged kids (hubby couldn't make it this trip), I think this place is great value for a couple with young kids.

Perfect CA beach stay

What’s wonderful place for a couple or a family. We travels with our two adult children for a wedding and this was perfect. If you are traveling with little ones, it will be even better. Why pay for the cost of an overpriced hotel when you can stay here.

We are Mark and D'Arcy Cornwall. We have one dog, Casper. We both graduated from UCSB and went to law school in Santa Barbara. We are retired now and love to travel in our RV when not in Summerland. We decided to rent out our guest house as a vacation rental so we could share the joy of this special place with special people. We hope you love Summerland as much as we do.

Summerland is a coastal gem! We love the small community. It is a beach town with great restaurants, stores, coffee shops and a bookstore. The beach and park are walking distance from the rental. We hope you enjoy our little pocket of paradise!
