West Beach is the best part of Santa Barbara! This large, well-equipped studio has a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Bathroom has a shower. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen with a small, bistro table and a large dining table and chairs in the main room. There are wood floors and a high, open-beam ceiling. The large, wraparound tile patio has comfortable outdoor furniture and great views. Beach chairs and boogie boards for playing in the sun are included. There is on site parking . Close to Amtrak and Greyhound stations and Moxi, the children’s museum. Bird life abounds in nearby Mission Creek. Resupply at Santa Cruz market, 3 blocks away and the local Farmers' Markets. Numerous restaurants, wine tastings and Downtown are within easy walking distance, or take the shuttle, 1 block away.

Perfect Beach Spot!

This studio is the perfect spot for a young couple looking for a relaxing beach vacation. So close to the beach and so many restaurants, bars, and shops. The place is clean and organized and fit all of our needs.

Great property, balcony is fantastic, I would like to see seating and tables on the balcony cleaner. Probably difficult to maintain with the proximity to the ocean air.

Holiday getaway

Enjoyed our stay - we were visiting family nearby and this place gave us some time to ourselves, too. Enjoyed the creek and birds; nearby Funk Zone was a plus. We would return! While near the train, the noise was not an issue...

Wonderful location, comfortable studio

My husband, our daughter, and I just had our third stay in this unit, and we continue to be delighted with it. The studio is very roomy and well-supplied, and the covered balcony offers lots of enjoyable outside seating options. We had a great time and hope to return!

Coffee on the porch.

We had a wonderful stay with attentive hosts, and we would go back in a heart beat! Walking distance to so many things. Bakeries, the pier, restaurants and even museums. The porch was a great place for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon. So glad we chose to stay here!

Very nice and great location

I would definitely come back. All was as advertised and it was very quiet at night despite being in town. First train I heard was not until after 7am.

Great location and great price

The place was spacious, centrally located, and in great shape. The noise was very minimal due to some construction but well worth the price. The owner was very easy to work with and we really appreciated their flexibility. We came as a couple and had the ocean breeze flowing through the windows and access to the full kitchen. The view and large balcony are a huge plus. You should be aware of the train in the morning, but this is one of the few drawbacks. I would highly reccomend this place to stay for anyone looking to explore Santa Barbara.

Staying at this studio was great for my adult children and me. The owner was accessible and promptly replied to any questions we had. The studio is cute and comfortable. The main area has a line of windows going completely around it on three sides, -so it is bright and sunny. There are good window shades for privacy. The location was absolutely perfect for us as we attended an event nearby. It was so great to park the car in a dedicated off-street space and not need to drive it until it was time to go home. The studio is equipped with lots of thoughtful items - like a yoga mat, hats, teas, and an iron and ironing board. The porch is the best. There are various sitting areas with comfortable chairs. I loved sitting out there with the perfect temperature breeze. There were great plants and fresh flowers on the porch - a hummingbird came everyday to check them out. Overall, it is close to a lot of action and a sunny, cheerful, and peaceful retreat.

An amazing studio on the second floor with a wrap-around deck, close to the beach, and surrounded by bars, wine tasting rooms and restaurants. Very responsive and thoughtful host. The apartment is fully equipped, and has beach chairs, towels, boogie board and even hats for your enjoyment. One thing to be aware is there is no AC (as per listing), so the place got a bit warm as the weather was unusually hot for this area. This did not bother us, and we really enjoyed our stay. Big THANK YOU to the host! We will be back!

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! If you want to be in the heart of everything and not break the bank, this is the perfect spot. Originally we were concerned with no a/c but once all the windows are open, there’s a great cross breeze. It’s a homey place and it has a fantastic outdoor space. Off street parking was a great perk.

Great place in a great spot

Having the parking spot at all times is key. The location of this place is key. The TV is older, radio works and there is a VHS/DVD player only so bring some entertainment for when you are there (tablets, portable bluetooth speaker etc). It’s very cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will book it again when we go back!

We love this place!

My boyfriend and I had the best week stay at this place! The private balcony/deck was an amazing bonus and allowed us to enjoy the perfect weather. Everything about the place exceeded our expectations. One thing worth noting is that you are very close to the train station which can be loud throughout the day, but still well worth it! We plan on coming to stay again as soon as possible :)

So Close to Everything

We were a group of 4 adults in town for a wedding at the Hotel Californian and this was maybe a 4 minute walk away. It was the perfect location to be close to everything while also having privacy. The balcony/porch was amazing!!! And the hosts have thought of everything. Every little detail was taken care of and it made our stay so fun and easy.

Location is everything

I'm a native Santa Barbarian who grew up in the triplex next door. This building was built in '96, the year our daughter was born. We raised her next door for the first five years of her life. The Studio had been leased out yearly and now we've made it into a vacation rental. We enjoy using it ourselves occasionally, when we want to escape from the Portland winters or play at the beach in the summers. We're looking
forward to sharing our 2nd home with you.
