Lake Cabin on North Shore of Lake O' the Pines

Two story cabin located on a point with water on two sides. It is located in a quiet area of the lake near Big Cypress Marina and Longview Yacht Club. The house sits on an acre of land with plenty of trees and privacy. Entire yard is fenced for pets. The house has large walk around deck, central A/C, open floor plan, comfortable living area with fireplace, 1 bedroom and bath downstairs and 1 bedroom and bath upstairs. The stairs have an above average rise, typical is 7"-8", it is 8 1/2" with the first step being 9 1/2". It has a fully stocked kitchen with washer and dryer. The dining table seats 6 and 2 at the bar. The detached garage sleeps 4 equipped with its own refrigerator, stove and bathroom. The deck wraps around the entire house with seating and fire pit. The large yard also has a fire pit with beautiful view of the lake. The dock is on the cove side and is great for fishing. The woods on the east side of the house are great for spotting deer. Wonderful place to relax, fish, enjoy family or play games ( indoor and out).
Historic Jefferson is only 15 minutes away with Antique shops, general store, Blackburn's syrup store, boat ride down the bayou, carriage rides,Jefferson Railway along with year round activities such as Ghost Walk Tours and Mardi Gras Parades. Caddo Lake offers boat tours that are breathtaking with the spanish moss hanging from the cypress trees. Shreveport, Louisianna is only 50 miles away with River boat gambling and live entertainment.
This is a quiet area of the lake, if you are not looking for a quiet stay this is not the place for you. Disturbing the neighbors will not be tolerated.

Very nice property on the lake! The grounds were lovely. We saw some of the local wildlife, and we appreciated the property welcoming our furry family members. With the converted detached garage providing extra space, we were able to comfortably spread out. We enjoyed our visit with family celebrating our oldest member’s 95th birthday!

It is a wonderful home with a little cabin next to it. We went swimming at sandy beach. We ate and stayed at the cabin. We went night fishing. It’s a quiet beautiful place. We will be back. Thank you!

We love this house. It’s the third time we’ve stayed here, and we already have it booked again for November. This is house is peace, and it’s in a beautiful area. The renovated garage is amazing. It has so much room for seating if you’re with a big group and makes a fun escape from the main house. Shannon is responsive and friendly.

Perfect property. Great location, plenty of room for vehicles and boat trailer. All the amenities you need and a boat dock to leave the boat. Host was great with communications and answered all of our questions. Will definitely stay again.

The property was exactly as listed and the host was very helpful answering questions. My family enjoyed the space especially the porch and the dock. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals and all appliances worked! The house was clean and neat when we arrived and the yard was well kept. We ate already planning to return!

The property is well repersented by the pictures and very clean. It was the most well stocked rental I've ever been to. It is clearly rented some weekends and used by the owner on others, The cabin is well loved and it shows. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Shannon is very quick in responding to any inquiries we sent. Definitely dog friendly place and neighborhood. Very nice place to stay. We did a pontoon tour with Captain Rons Swam-worth the 30 minute trip to see Caddo Lake.

We had a fabulous stay at this cabin. All of our needs were met. The hosts go above and beyond. It was very clean, spacious, and super cute. It was even decorated for Christmas. I highly recommend this cabin.

Excellent location on the lake on a beautiful cove. Quiet neighborhood. Great big fenced yard and large deck would be excellent place for family gathering. Clise wnough to Jefferson for those who like antique shopping. Really enjoyed our stay here.

The cabin was such a delight. The kitchen is fully stocked just as if you were at home. Fenced in property to keep kids and pets safe. Such a lovely property. Family and pet friendly. Charming, peaceful, great views, wrap around porch, very clean, easy directions to the cabin, easy check in process, host experience was great with prompt communication.
