This house was purchased with love by Chris, a retired engineer, and Anita, a lawyer, when they were living in Morristown, New Jersey. Anita is studying Italian and Art History and Chris wrote a book about his family history -
"Is That You Grandpa?". They have 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Rupununi is a nod to Chris' home country, British Guyana. Though Chris passed away in 2025, together they loved golf, music, cooking, reading, travelling, and the Berkshires.

They had just seen "On Golden Pond" and were looking for an idyllic location like that. They found it here.

The house is right on an 80-acre lake with not another house in sight, yet just a stone's throw from all the Berkshires has to offer.
