This was an amazing find for us. The cabin was very well designed and it was clean. The location was perfect. Would defn visit again.
My husband and I stayed here. Enjoyed eating outside on the deck tucked in the woods. Had everything we needed. Good spot for the areas we wanted to see.
We had a great time in the cabin. Good ambiance, comfortable bed, very well located for exploring the national park, fully stocked kitchen, and close to downtown Port Angeles. FYI, there is some road noise from the highway nearby. Beautiful part of the world! Thanks!
Office staff very kind and helpful. Location was perfect for ONP access and other great places. Quiet and quaint. Near by road, but you feel secluded and not any road noise unless you’re outside. We hope to come back and will stay here again.
Very nice cabin a short drive to Olympic NP. Bedroom & family room nice size. Secluded back deck. A little road noise but quiet at night. Couldn’t see road, just hear during day but most of our time was spent at the park. Kitchen small/compact but sufficient. I’d stay here again.
The cabin was even better in person than the pictures! Every inch of the space was well thought through. We had a family of four and it suited us just fine. We made all our meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen (def well stocked)! The grill was a bonus and the bed was so dang comfortable! We loved heading out to Hoh, Hurricane Ridge, and Salt Creek tide pools - we can’t wait to come back!
This place was adorable. Close enough to everything we wanted to see but far enough away from everything. About the only thing I would say I wish I had known the main road was so close. You can hear the cars very loudly when outside. But once back inside its back to the perfect oasis.
This is a great place in the woods. The inside is beautiful, clean, and very, very nice. I slept in the loft. Super cosy, but be careful coming down the ladder in the middle of the night. My only minor complaint was how hard it was to turn the door key. However, the management is do good, I’m certain they’ll fixed it! I’d go back
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was a little closer to the highway than expected, despite the woods, but the road noise wasn’t too bad. We saw local deer grazing blackberries in the yard and loved the little path over to the campground and taking advantage of the greenhouse/garden onsite. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! Only other thing I’d mention - it said in listing there is a Keurig, however we did not see one there. That being said, there was loose coffee provided for the coffee pot, so we didn’t go without!
This was our first time to the Pacific Northwest. We stayed here at the suggestion of friends and it was just lovely. The cabin has several little touches that made it a perfect place for our little family. I am glad we went to the cabin before purchasing groceries so we could see what was already there. Our one 'not so great' thing was how close the cabin is to the highway. We did hear cars early in the morning, so it's not quite as secluded as we thought. Don't let that deter you from staying.
The staff was friendly upon check-in and the cabin was clean.
Thanks for helping make our first visit memorable!
This was the perfect cozy cabin close to our outdoor adventure plans in the ONP. The bed was a 10 out of 10 for comfort which was much appreciated after many miles of hiking.
The cabin is exactly as described and provided a great sorta central spot to reach out from. The local info provided at check in was also much appreciated. Would stay here again.
Very cute, cozy, and clean. Tucked away, you feel lots of privacy with the surrounding trees. All the amenities of home. Great water pressure in the shower. Very soft king bed. Just a short drive to all the major places of interest. One side of the property does back up to the highway, but it didn't bother us or keep us awake. The concrete counters in the kitchen are cool, but need a deep clean and then seal it or epoxy over it for easy future cleaning. If you're wanting to unplug and relax, this is perfect. If you want high speed internet, this isn't the place for you.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and the cabin is perfect. It is close to so many hikes and activities and we were so pleased with all the amenities that this property offers. We look forward to staying again.
Great setting. Road noise is audible when outside but didn’t hear a thing when inside. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well appointed. My daughter and her family were staying at the campground so it was super easy for them to hang out with us. Our grandchildren even enjoyed an overnight in the loft. So much fun since we hadn’t seen them in 4 months!
What a great cabin, amazing interior design and decor. All the amenities you need. Great central location with lots to do just a short drive away. Super friendly owners. We had a fabulous time staying here.
We have camped on the property before but wow, that cabin is something special. Warm and dry for a cold and wet bike race weekend made for great times. The unit is well stocked, easy to cook and clean while being very close to the race venue. We love everything about the Elwah Dam RV Park and hope to return soon!
My partner and I rented this cabin for a vacation, and so glad we did! The location is private and close enough to some really amazing places to adventure. Our hosts were very kind and responsive if needed, and the amenities of the cabin were a plus. Thank you for our stay!
This is one of the cleanest properties I've been to with wonderful amenities. A lot of thoughtfulness has gone into making guests comfortable (e.g., tissues everywhere, bandaids in the bathroom, condiments galore, plug-ins for every device type, and glass tupperware!). Hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. As a traveler I like to know the downsides to set expectations, so here are the wee things to note: the living room is smaller than I thought it would be (but very cozy and comfortable!), the loft is much smaller than I thought it would be (perfect for a child or two that can climb ladders!). That's it. Otherwise I was very grateful for the concrete counters and metal tables that I couldn't destroy, the cleanliness, and the coziness of the place. I hope to be back!

David and Chris manage this property and campground resort with their family who are caring people and eager to serve. They say it still feels like yesterday when they searched over a year to find the perfect property. "It was hard to find a place that has the best of all worlds, but here at the Elwha it seems we do: It has a peaceful healing vibe, with majesty all around. Mountain peaks stand in the distance and the splendor of the forest, lakes, waterfalls, Strait of Juan De Fuca and ocean are mere minutes away. A Victoria, BC international experience is just a boat ride away and all around you is a community of service that suits a family's needs. Port Angeles truly is a unique place."
