Beautiful Spot on the Lake
We booked this property to enjoy the total eclipse but got more than just a great view. The house was roomy and well-furnished with anything we could use (linens, towels, kitchen items, etc.). It was super-tidy and welcoming. The beds were a little snug but you can't expect a jumbo bed in a cabin. We would definitely visit again!

Serene & Comfortable with beautiful sunsets
Let's say that I was extremely tempted to rent the place for the rest of the year. It was so pretty, the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating, and the sunsets were breathtaking. The cabin (or "camp" as it is called in VT) is small but plenty of room for 2 to 4 adults (the one room has twin beds which would also work for kids). It is very convenient - kayaks and life jackets are provided and the storage shed is where we stored our bikes. There is no dishwasher but that was not an inconvenience. The refrigerator was even stocked with eggs and milk and there was a basket with Vermont goodies in it. If you are not fond of reeds touching you, then it wouldn't be a swim from shore kind of experience, but there is a sandy beach a short drive from the cabin on the Sandbar Bridge which is very swimmable. We biked one day to the ferry access and back, 10-ish miles round trip. In short, a wonderful lakefront stay that has stuck with us. I sometimes close my eyes during stressful times and picture sitting on the deck watching the birds and water rippling.

Beautiful spot!
This was a fantastic place to spend some time with the kids. We really enjoyed being right on the lake and spent a lot of time kayaking. The nearby bike path and bike ferry was a lot of fun.

Beautiful location, relaxing stay
We had a great time riding bikes, paddle boarding, reading, and exploring the area! The property was a good home base for us and it was really nice to be able to store bikes in the garage/shed.

Why they chose this property

The cottage is located on Keeler Bay in a cove with privacy. The location is near apple orchards, museums, wineries, biking paths and the bike ferry as well as antiquing and farmers markets. Fishing, boating, kayaking, etc. is amazing on Lake Champlain. Leaf peeping in Vermont is the best in New England. We have paid attention to every detail inside the home and try to make sure every guest, friend, and family member is comfortable.
