This magnificent beachfront family home is located in one of the most pristine bays and associations on Lake Charlevoix, the Mowrey’s Oyster Bay Club. It is an ideal location for low-key family and friend gatherings or corporate retreats that want the comfort of a treasured home, as well as incredible views, and amazing outdoor summer-camp adventures. This 2009 built 5400+ square foot home features an airy, open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen made for entertaining and accommodating large groups. Plenty of large windows, wood-framed glass doors and a slider offer an unobstructed view of magical Oyster Bay. The well-appointed kitchen boasts 40 feet of counter space, with a large island and plenty of room for maneuvering. A large pantry, two refrigerators, two dishwashers and two sinks make storage and cleanup a breeze. The 10-person bar around the kitchen offers additional seating and convenient socializing. The dining room has two, 8-person square tables that can be pulled apart or pushed together. They are perfect for seating both large and intimate groups. The living room highlights include seating for 10, a cozy gas fireplace and a 65-inch TV with streaming capabilities and DirecTv. There are two powder bathrooms on the main level. An indoor/outdoor audio system runs throughout the house, including surround sound for maximum television and music enjoyment. Immediately adjacent to the main living room area is a welcoming screened-in porch with outdoor furniture and wood fireplace. The room’s ceiling heaters help to take the edge off on cool nights. Upon taking the first steps onto the deck, the scenery paints the perfect picture of a Northern Michigan summer. The massive patio extends the entire width of the house, with two outdoor tables and lounge chairs, a large stainless steel BBQ grill, foot shower, and a 7-person spa. The beautiful grassy lawn spans the entire way to the 140-feet of beachfront. The sandy beach is complete with a fire pit, chairs, loungers, two kayaks, two paddleboards, pedal boat, and various beach toys for your enjoyment. The swimming area and dock extends into the sparkling bay and includes a 3,500-pound boat lift, and sundeck. Boaters can access Lake Charlevoix, as well as Lake Michigan. The house can comfortably accommodate 14 adults and up to 8 kids. It boasts four hotel-style suites designed for ultimate comfort, with their own lake view, full bathrooms and TV. The first master suite is located on the main level and contains a queen-size bed and luxurious bathroom, including a make-up vanity. The additional suites are located on the second level. The second suite features a small balcony, queen size bed and a beautiful bathroom, complete with a make-up vanity. The third suite has a king-sized bed and nicely appointed bathroom. The fourth suite boasts sleeping for four, with a twin trundle and king-sized bed, as well as a comfortable balcony. The first and second guest bedrooms feature double bunk beds for camp-like fun. The third guest bedroom has a queen bed. An additional small sleeping nook contains two single beds for overflow. The second level shared bathroom contains a bathtub/shower and double sink vanity to accommodate guests with a door separating the vanity and shower/toilet area. The upstairs level also has a Bonus Room above the garage. This game room/den is perfect for additional lounging and playing. The TV, indoor basketball arcade game and foosball table are great entertainment for kids and adults. There is a "Secret Room" off the Bonus Room with twin trundle beds. There is a laundry room on each level, and plenty of linens and beach towels to make your stay more comfortable. This property is located in a quiet community and large organized events, including weddings, rehearsal dinners and after-parties, are strictly prohibited. We also require a 10 p.m.-8 a.m. outdoor noise reduction. Due to limited parking, a maximum of 10-cars will be allowed. There is a 14-night minimum stay for this exquisite and unique property.
