Hi Nikki. So glad you enjoyed your stay overall! But I'm disappointed you guys didn't acknowledge an issue while here so I could have taken better care of you! Comfort is one of the highlights in the feedback from guests all through my reviews and in person, for over 2 years now, and which I pride myself on as a host. I only wish you would have mentioned the issue with a bed while you were here. I am a bit confused because you were very good with communication from booking to departure. When we spoke on numerous occasions throughout your stay, I was assured specifically that everyone was comfortable and well rested. When you asked me for restaurant suggestions and things to do with the kids on the rainy days, I responded with websites, directions, phone numbers and details, so I don't understand why you wouldn't have said anything then, so I could have taken taken care of you right away. I feel awful to know it was an issue. As far as the bathroom, with a full tub and plenty of space for anyone else so far, you never mentioned the private, outdoor shower you'd seemed to enjoy. It is very large, family size, and has been my solution to having 1 bathroom, which was clearly listed in the description for my property. Upon cleaning after your departure, we'd noticed a loose bracket, and I just assumed the kiddos were wiggling around on the bed, and it had become loose. Normally, adults sleep in the kings and kids just use the twins, so with two adults it never posed a problem until now. I'm glad I could address it but again, I do wish I had opportunity to correct it for you while you were here. I work very hard to create more of a B&B feel here, being on site most of the time, and work to be the best host that I can. It was lovely having your beautiful little family and would love to host you again. Unfortunately, now, having to adhere more strictly to local guidelines, I can only rent by the month. Thank you for coming and hope all of you have a safe and happy year in school.
