This little red cabin was originally built in the 1920's and is still owned by the same family. Aside from the kitchen appliances, new TV's, new bedding, and furniture, not much has changed from the 20's when the house was built. You will experience a truly rare vacation staying in this little 3 bedroom cabin.

Steep stairs to the loft bedroom
A tree growing through part of the home (!)

No air conditioning (typical for Tahoe cabins)
⚠️ House Rules (Strictly Enforced)
Max occupancy: 6 guests at all times
Minimum age to book: 25
No parties, events, or weddings
Quiet hours: 9 PM – 8 AM
No fireworks, wood fire pits, or charcoal grills

No street parking (strictly enforced with fines)
Parking permits must be displayed
❄️ Winter Travel Note
Located above 7,000 ft—snow is common in winter. Please plan for winter driving conditions (AWD/4WD recommended).

Occupancy Rules:
*Min age to rent any property is 25. If you, the credit card holder- person signing the contract- and person responsible for the reservation, rents this house and are not 25, we will cancel the booking and you will not get a refund, no exceptions, you MUST be 25 or older.
*Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines.
*You are only allowed 6 persons at any time at the house. This includes any diners or gatherings you may have.
*Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm to 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood.
* Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
*Parking: 2 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are located in the rental house.
*Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow.
