This seaside rental is just a short walk from the beach as well as many local bars and restaurants. Across the street, there's a souvenir shop and the Float Pool & Patio Bar is so close you can sometimes hear the bands from your deck. This home is also less than a mile from the Galveston Historic Pleasure Pier where you'll find rides, concessions, an aquarium, and fishing at the end of the pier.

Not as in the pictures

The pictures are misleading. The property does not look like the pictures any longer. Needs some TLC and some attention. Would not recommend or return. The location is good, but the property is a big turn off. Seems like no one is tending to it daily or as check in and outs.

Terrible, Misleading, dangerous!

The heater stopped working during the night. The blankets were not warm enough. Deck light was out. We opened the front door and were greeted by a large cockroach! Blinds are missing in Windows upstairs. Back deck has tons of raised exposed nails! Garbage on the deck. Large hole in the deck boards. Exposed electrical wires. Stairs not to building code (we had tripped several times). All furniture is stained and appears dirty. There is a business directly below. Trash everywhere outside. This place seem like ot would fall over with a strong wind.

Perfect Getaway Home

The location is perfect if you want to wake up every day and see the ocean. The house is even bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything in the photos was very accurate other the one bedroom showing a small bed, now has a set of bunkbeds like the other bedroom (even better). Tons of eateries and things to do very close by.

Deck , bathroom, a/c laundry room, towels, trash cans.

Great place to stay one big issue with the deck Two of my kids and including my wife and me got fell down and got cuts with the nails and some pieces of wood are out, not laundry one bath, a/c working but not enough (during the day)to the house,one trash can was full in the second one people from others place fill the second trash can and leave trash out of the trash cans and bad smells coming to the deck we take some of our trash to the beach trash cans. Everything else is a great place to stay again and I hope they fix those little things and I will the place will be one of the hottest to staying.

We stayed here 2 nights and it was miserably hot. There were 3 a/c units in the apartment and none of them worked properly. We were there for family vacation with our 3 month old son. It was not pleasant. Only good thing about this place was the location. It was within walking distance to the beach, great views of the beach and the pier.
