Set on 2.75 acres in the high desert, Casa Paloma offers a peaceful escape with sweeping valley views, an enclosed backyard, and plenty of space for families and friends. Inside, you'll find classic Southwestern details, comfortable gathering spaces, a wood-burning fireplace, and a flexible bonus room with bunk beds and a pool table.
Spend the day exploring Taos and the Enchanted Circle, then come home to soak in the hot tub, fire up the grill, challenge everyone to a game of pool, or simply settle in and watch a movie.
Living Room
The heart of the home is a comfortable living room with a leather sofa, wood-burning fireplace, and TV for movie nights or catching the game. You'll also find a collection of puzzles and games tucked throughout the room—perfect for a low-key night in.
Bonus Room
The bonus room is designed to flex with your group. Challenge everyone to a game of pool, settle in at the dedicated desk for a little work, or let the kids claim the bunk beds as their own. The room also opens directly to the backyard, making it an easy transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Primary Bedroom
The primary bedroom features a comfortable king bed with quality linens, a TV for relaxing nights in, and plenty of space to settle in after a day of exploring.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with quality linens, nightstands, reading lamps, and a full-length mirror.
Third Bedroom
The third bedroom features another king bed, nightstands, reading lights, and a full-length mirror. A pack & play is also available in the closet for our littlest guests.
Bonus Room
The bunk beds in the bonus room offer additional sleeping space for kids and make the room especially useful for families.
Kitchen + Dining
The fully equipped kitchen has generous counter space, high-end appliances, and everything you need to prepare a quick breakfast or a full dinner. The open layout keeps the kitchen connected to the rest of the home, so the cook doesn't have to miss out on the conversation.
Basic oils and spices are provided, along with dishes for kids and bowls for four-legged guests.
The dining table seats 8, with additional seating for 6 at the kitchen counter.
Backyard
The private, fully enclosed backyard is one of Casa Paloma's best features. There's outdoor dining for 6, a 5-person hot tub, and wide-open views of the night sky.
After a day out exploring, settle into the hot tub and watch the sunset give way to stars. It's a pretty great place to end the day.

Attention to Detail:

✓ Cleanliness is a top priority for us and we pride ourselves on welcoming you into a sparkling clean home! Our cleaning fee is pass through, meaning that the entire sum is paid to our meticulous cleaning team.

✓ Hot tubs can get quite unsanitary. But not ours! Our hot tub is professionally sanitized. Please check the guidebook on how to use the hot tub and what you can do to help us keep it clean.

✓ We provide premium linens for each guest.

✓ We provide complimentary bath essentials, including Public Goods body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotion.

✓ We provide basic paper goods and consumables - paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, sponges, laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

✓ A new LG washing machine and dryer along with an ironing board and iron are available for your use during your stay.

✓ By using the hot tub, you acknowledge that using the hot tub involves inherent risks, including risk of injury or illness, and you agree to use the hot tub at your own risk. You will follow all instructions provided in the guidebook and hold harmless the property owner from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of your use of the hot tub. While maintained by a professional weekly service, guests are asked to dispense one tablespoon of shock per person per use to help maintain water clarity and cleanliness.

✓ Natural materials including flagstone, rock and gravel are inherently uneven and can shift over time. Landscaped areas are not perfectly level and may pose a tripping hazard. Please watch your step.

Other Things to Note:

Our property is located within a boutique community of 6 homes. El Prado is a prized location, and we are aware that over the next year or so another 6 homes will be built further up the hill. Given large lot sizes, we don’t expect significant noise. But guests will see and hear construction during daytime hours. Based on our experience, the builder and his team are extremely professional.

While we employ a preventative pest control service, the property is surrounded by natural sagebrush that many critters call home, including rodents, snakes, and coyotes.

Like many homes in northern New Mexico, we enjoy radiant heat but do not have air conditioning. For those rare hot days, each bedroom and the living room are furnished with high quality Minka Aire ceiling fans to keep guests cool and relaxed.

Please note that our cleaning fee is “pass through”, meaning the entire sum is “passed on” to our amazing cleaning crew to support high quality work and a living wage.

Please note that these house rules are bi-directional.

As hosts, we are…
- Dedicated to hosting you and will not cancel a confirmed reservation for any reason.
- Committed to the property being as described in the listing.
- Focused on you having an excellent experience.

As guests, you will…
- Adhere to community quiet hours between 10pm and 7am.
- Help keep the home clean by removing all shoes before coming inside.
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.
- Ensure that all dogs are listed on the reservation. A $150 fee will be applied to reservations with unlisted dogs.
- Wash and put away your dishes and glassware after use.
- Remove all food from the fridge, freezer and cupboard when checking out.
- Do not touch the art and return furniture to its original position if moved.
- Spa at your own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult.
- Ensure all fires are extinguished. Please do not pour water into the cone firepit (it will rust!)
- Remember that no parties or event are allowed.
- Clean up after your dogs. There is no poop fairy!
