It was very nice and clean. Very quiet, with beautiful views. I love the area, arroyo seco is a charming little town. The stars were just amazingly bright at the casita.
An amazing property, views of the mountains to the north and sunsets and extinct volcanoes to the south. Incredibly clean and bright casita with excellent mountain breezes and top notch window coverings to shade the beautiful Arroyo Seco sun. Arroyo Seco is a very special place and this property gives you the best of it!!!!
Right near the shops and market of arroyo Seco and minutes from the Taos ski valley this is a hard to beat choice for anyone who wants to visit the area. Quiet and relaxing. The unit was clean and very nice.
Was a great little casita..couldnt beat the location! Kitchen was a little smaller than we thought, but we made it work. Thank you Donna for allowing our kitty to join us..appreciate it!
My husband and I loved our stay at Donna's place. It was perfect for us and our dog while we were in town for the weekend. Had everything we needed and was close to the little town of Arroyo Seco, which was lovely!
Spotless, cozy casita; easy short walk to Arroyo Seco.
We loved our short stay here. The kitchen is cute, but tiny. Several great restaurants a short walk away. Dog friendly with open spaces surrounding the casita. We would absolutely stay here again.
This sweet, little studio was a perfect place to stay while visiting family in the area! I will definitely look for its availability for my next visit to Arroyo Seco.
The room was very cute and basic. I loved the views of the mountains and sunset from inside the casita, along with goats! It was nice to be able to walk to town.
Great place to stay in a Taos region where other properties seem to try to take advantage (via excessive prices and even higher fees) of out of town visitors. Very quaint (and clean) accommodations that provided everything we needed for our short stay. Excellent location. We will definitely seek out this place again should we be back to the Taos area.
Donna’s place is a wonderful little farm stay. Great for if you are in town for Taos Ski Valley just 15 to 20 minutes to ski area! It’s within walking distance to a small community center with shops and restaurants. Do note that everything in the community closes by around 3 PM or so, But Donna‘s place has a small kitchen so you can use it to whip up some quick light dinner or lunch.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Host was welcoming, good directions. Website listed one of the amenities as a smart TV, but actually was just a screen and a DVD player - no capability to watch any streaming programs (Olympic opening ceremonies) or anything but DVDs. Also, DVD player kept stopping and freezing the image, so it didn't work either. Parking is very tight and constricted, extremely limited space in which to turn your car around, only one way in. Garage is attached, but is not available for guest parking.Kitchen electric stove very weak - couldn't boil water in the tea kettle after 15 minutes on "high".Bed has to have one of the firmest mattresses we've ever encountered. However, on the plus side, unit was very neat and clean - bath, linens, etc.
Very quiet and serene. Enjoyed walking to the center of town and surrounding lanes. Would stay again, so long as the host won’t mind us using the main parking area. The alternative, next to the guest entrance was difficult to get in & out of.

Wish you had asked me about the parking, I would have worked that out for you. Didn't realize you were having an issue.
Overall my stay was great. The casita is located in the cute little town of arroyo seco and such a great location for skiing at Taos. There was some recycles, dirty towels, and empty tissues left out as if forgotten while cleaning , though. Aside from that I truly enjoyed my stay!

Thanks for the heads up! I will mention that to my cleaner.
This is a great place for one or two people. It’s on the edge of town but close enough to walk to awesome dining. It’s close to skiing and close to Taos. The host was magnificent. I lost my truck key while skiing and she really went out of her way to help me. Highly recommended and I will definitely book again whenever I can.
We’ve been to Taos several times, and this place takes the cake. It’s perfectly situated between town and the mountain (great for ski season), and is almost unbelievably quiet. We brought our dogs along and they had plenty of room inside and outside. Our puppy especially was enamored of the farm animals nearby! It’s a bit tricky to find the first time, but just follow Donna’s directions and you’ll be good to go.
