The place was great for a family of four who was out and about all day playing in the red rocks. The room would be a bit on the small size otherwise but the resort had plenty of opportunities to find some space if needed.
I had though I booked a 2 bedroom but that is my fault. The room had everything we needed. We had a great view of the mountains. The best was getting up and walking to the trails that you could see the hot air balloons! We had a great time !
Everything was great. Internet needs an improvement, but its was a vacation after all. Without internet and cell service you spend more time with the family, right!? ;)
The room and resort are fantastic. The only disappointment was on check in we were told the type of unit CAN NOT have a view. The description indicated it was up to the discretion of the resort and it was possible to get a room with a view but it actually was not possible to get a room with a view.
That said everything else was truly wonderful and i would absolutly stay again .
The room was lovely. So clean and fresh. It had appliances and utensils if you want to cook. (We didn’t…too many restaurants in Sedona.)
This is a downstairs room so no view or phone signal for us. Also no internet. I went to the lobby to connect.
The pools and hot tubs are located near each cluster of units. Very convenient and nice.
Minimal Wi-Fi. Text and phone calls but no internet at all. Poor quality TV picture - dark around edges. Everything else about this studio was really good.
Sedona is beautiful but crowded. This location helped us avoid the downtown traffic. The property had all that we were looking for and working with Scott was a piece of cake..
Really enjoyed staying on the west side of Sedona this time! Close to all the hikes we were doing. Nice pools and hot tubes! This place was very clean and it was perfect for whaat we we were doing!
The place was very clean and nice. The check-in process was a little long but very simple. The facilities were great and ever better than they looked in the pictures. The only bad thing was that the internet did not work
We loved staying in West Sedona. Sedona is beautiful but we quickly learned it is overrun with tourists. If you’re going mainly to enjoy hikes, I highly recommend West Sedona! West Sedona felt much more laid back and slower paced than uptown. The property was a very easy in & out. We left early in the morning for a hike, returned to the property for lunch, and went back out for early afternoon hikes - we never had to fight traffic. If you want to go to uptown, you can easily drive in and find parking. The rest of the resort looked nice, although we didn’t use the amenities due to limited time. We did get locked out of our room once and were able to use the text message concierge to request help - maintenance was there in less than 5 minutes which was great! The wifi situation was a bit frustrating - it is mentioned in the listing that there are connectivity issues but from our experience, there was no wifi at all to even try to connect to in the room. We also didn’t have any cell service with Verizon. We had to research and plan out our next day’s activities at dinner/off property. If we return to Sedona, we’ll definitely stay in West Sedona and would stay here again - we would just make sure to have all of our hikes planned in advance so that wifi isn’t an issue!
We had a great time! Just be careful at check in as they will try to sell you things, just get in and get out!! The resort was nice and conveniently located, close to all the hikes we did and restaurants. There is also a stove top if you want to cook your own meals.
