This property was beautiful and extremely well maintained. The hosts were kind and helpful. Probably my favorite vacation rental i have ever stay at. Highly recommend
The lean to and surrounding property looked fantastic on the listing, but it was even better than we anticipated. This place had everything we needed to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We stayed for five days and it went by too fast. We hope to come back again.
We had an amazing time exploring the property and the vicinity.
Will left everything pristine and in perfect order for our group. Also he gave us great tips about the area and provided us with all that we needed.
The howl of coyotes could be heard in the evenings, but they never came close.
Fantastic experience.
My husband and I booked this spot as a vacation for our birthdays and anniversary and we were not disappointed. The property was beautiful, the lean-to was equipped with everything we could have needed and more, and Bob and Sheila were the most hospitable hosts! Highly recommend checking out this property and all of their cool accommodations!
Our family of 4 stayed in the lean-to for a quick weekend getaway. It was just what we were looking for! Bob and Sheila were super responsive and having them on-site was great. Sheila helped us plan our hikes for the weekend and is super knowledgeable about the area. The site was wonderful! The lean-to was huge and really felt like home. They thought of everything. Can't wait to go back.
We enjoyed the property and layout both Bob and Chrissy were very helpful and personable.

About the host
Hosted by The Delarm Eckert Family
Bob, Hannah, Luke & Sheila enjoy traveling, but they love the Adirondacks and can't imagine living anywhere else. This Lean-to was built by the family from logs harvested on their property.
Why they chose this property
Your hosts, Bob and Sheila, are a former professional wilderness guide, and a life-long resident of the Paul Smith’s area. Between the two of them, good advice—connecting you to great experiences and unique destinations—is as close to a “sure thing” as you can get. The temporary use of their brains is complimentary!
