Our Bear Paw Cottages are reminiscent of the motor court of the past and offers level parking, which makes this cottage great for motorcycle enthusiasts or people who want to avoid a cabin with a lot of stairs.
With a BRAND NEW queen sized LOG BED and a sleeping loft with a double sized mattress, our studio-style Bear Paw Cottage comfortably sleeps two adults and two small children.
Enjoy the many great restaurants in our area or cook a meal in the well equipped kitchenette or common grill area.
Relax or watch a movie on the large smart flat screen tv by the wood burning fireplace in your cabin or build a fire in the large outdoor firepit under the stars!
The cozy front porch offers an enjoyable, relaxing experience with the comfort of privacy and private swing.
We also offer a common area with charcoal grills and gazebo covered picnic tables so that you may enjoy more of the beauty of our mountains.

Everything about the cottage was wonderful. Perfect size for the two of us. Hot tub was very clean and the curtains provided us with extra privacy, which was a plus. Met one of the owners on our last day and he was super friendly. We will be staying here again for Octoberfest.

Awesome Place to Stay!!!

Nice, quaint place to stay. You get the huge, log cabin feel without having to pay for a huge log cabin and all the wasted space. Perfect for a couple on a weekend getaway. Extremely close to the state park and downtown Helen, without the hustle and bustle. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!!!

Lack of cleanliness

The room is extremely dusty, had several spiderwebs, and had a smell of urine (possibly animal). I tried to stay the two nights, but couldn’t do it because of the health concern of inhaling so much dust! The host and the VRBO ‘s mindset is only if you could have contacted the host -she/he could have cleaned the cabin, if I’m not mistaken, this needs to be done before my arrival not once I arrive. The lack of consideration and lack of accountability is the reason I will never use VRBO and I would never recommend this cabin to anyone. Stay clear from this place/host, you are better off going to a hotel.

We had a great time spending evenings in our cottage relaxing in the hot tub. It's so close to Helen with lots to do! We would love to come back. The trip couldn't have been any better!!

It was a very cozy relaxing stay. We loved how close to Helen it was. Close to some great hiking spots with beautiful waterfalls. And the fire pit and hot tub made our time at the cabin even more enjoyable.

Cozy little cabin !

My family and I enjoyed staying at this cabin over the 4th of July holiday. The listing accurately describes it. The cabin was very clean, smelled very nice, and had everything we needed in terms of amenities for our short two-day stay. The property manager was amiable and quick to answer all my questions. A++! The hot tub was terrific!!!! I definitely will be looking to book this cabin in the future when we come back to the Helen area. Thanks again.

This place was absolutely beautiful! Check in was amazing. Bed was extremely comfortable, slept like a rock. And to top it off the hot tub and check in was very nice and relaxing and check in was super quick, simple and convenient! We definitely enjoyed our stay and we will be back SOON !

The cabin was clean. The bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi was spotty at times. TV is limited to your personal streaming services. The area seemed very safe. Just a short distance from Helen.

The cutest cottage. Perfect for a couple wanting to getaway from city life.

We had a great time in this chqrming tiny cottage. The hot tub was steaming hot and so nice to relax in after all the walking around helen and trails. Fits only a couple or tiny family so it was perfect for us and our dog. Basically studio size. The water falls are down the street and helen was 10 min tto the little shops and restaurants. The host there seems sweet and helpful. Its even cuter than the pics shown.. Will be back!

A cozy cottage

This is exactly what I expected. Just remember that there isn't really a grocery store nearby and there's not a lot of room to keep food for more than about a day at a time and you will be perfectly happy here. The only negative thing is that there is next to zero cell service and the wifi is a bit spotty. Neither of these things was high on my priority list so we had a great trip.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

We booked this last minute for an early anniversary trip and it ended up being the perfect little cabin! Highly recommend this quaint little cabin for your perfect getaway! It is a short drive to Helen and the views are beautiful!

HELEN OCTOBER FEAST

We were able to get last minute reservations with Timberloft Cottages for October Feast in Helen. The cottage by its self is very beautiful and very well maintained. It is a great little loft cabin. So, if you have a one or two small children, they’ll love the loft bedroom! It is a small cabin, but it is still very nice. They have great community firepit in the back of the cabins. It is already stock with firewood and great comfy chairs. The location was the greatest for us. We here about 10 miles NE of Helen. The drive into Helen is very nice if you know the backway in. You can avoid a lot of traffic. Plus, we were only 45 minutes away from the Dillard House, lake Burton and Clayton Ga. The drive up there was so beautiful! This was our stay with TL and it will not be our last!
