Moose Creek Lodge - The Perfect Romantic Getaway!

We believe that Moose Creek Lodge is the ultimate Helen Georgia Vacation Rental. This cabin is a tribute to the incredible talent of several local craftsmen and artisans. This one-of-a-kind cabin is built in the Adirondack Mountain architectural style with a timber frame wood interior, hand-hewn log porches, and mountain laurel porch railings. It is perfect for anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, or any special occasion.

The kitchen cabinets are handcrafted from antique wood removed from a local barn and topped with a solid copper counter top. The bathroom sink is a locally crafted pottery vessel which sits atop an antique barn wood slab. From the large walk-in custom tiled shower to the huge antler chandeliers, every detail of this cabin was crafted for rustic mountain luxury.

On the large screened in porch, you will find a bubbling hot tub, a swing, rocking chairs and a charcoal grill just waiting for you to use. Sleep beside a roaring fire on a one-of-a-kind king size bed, handcrafted by a local North Georgia wood workers. At night, cozy up to a bonfire under the stars at the outdoor fire ring. Relax in the indoor jacuzzi garden tub and stretch out in front of the huge wood burning stone fireplace. Children love the built-in twin beds on each side of the fireplace.

Outdoor fun is just minutes away with fishing, hiking, paddle boating, swimming or canoeing at Unicoi State Park and Smith Lake.

This luxury cabin in Helen GA is the perfect destination for those seeking a comfortable rustic escape to the North Georgia mountains, but only minutes away from restaurants, shopping and activities in downtown Alpine Helen.

Fun at Moose Creek.

We had a great time at Moose Creek . We rented the cabin for Valentine's day and just a short getaway. Not to far from Atlanta .The cabin was so cozy. We will be renting that cabin again.

Birthday vacay!

Both my boyfriend and my birthdays passed while we had our stay and we were impressed with the cabin. It’s very cute inside and was very clean upon arrival. The hot tub worked perfectly (besides the lights but the experience overall was amazing). The weather was below 50 so the hot tub was an amazing touch.

The coffee maker was missing so we called after our arrival and a new one was delivered an hour later! Bed and furniture were very comfortable. Cabin wasn't very close to others, which provided some quiet seclusion. We drank our coffee on the front porch and had a meal or two there as well. Close to nice areas and parks as well as Helen and Clarksville. Highly recommend the cabin and we hope to stay there again.

The cabin was quite serene for me and my husband. We enjoyed the convenience of things to do in the area and being able to wind down in the jacuzzi afterwards. FYI…the light on the jacuzzi does not work but other than that, it was great.

While this property had some positive features such as the quiet, secluded location and the hot tub, it also has some things that could be improved to be the claimed "perfect romantic getaway." There was some mold/mildew in the shower that was quite unappealing. There was no soap dish in the bathroom sink, so the bar of soap was just making a mess on the counter. The outside furniture needed to be cleaned--it was quite dusty. The door lock had a super long passcode and locks behind you every time you go out the door. This makes it super risky if you forget to have the code with you. Pots and pans were below average and thrown into the bottom cabinet. These aren't deal-breakers if you're looking for a glamping trip. However, if you're looking for a turn-key romantic weekend, this cabin fall short of the mark.

Lovely Cabin in the Forest

Wow we just loved our 2 days and nights in this lovely cabin. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary here. We spent the e first day in downtown Helen and second say visiting Anna Ruby Falls and other cute towns and cities around the area. The cabin is so cool and has everything you need. Although we didn’t spend much daylight at the cabin, our late afternoons, evenings and mornings we magical. We just love the entire cabins set up! Big, open and well layed out. The home is literally a short drive to downtown Helen. We wish we could have stayed a whole week here! Definitely recommend this cabin.
