Entire Historic Home close to New Hope/Lambertville
Welcome to our lovingly restored historic home. This was our weekend home before we moved out of New York City full time. We are passionate about natural health and wellness and strive to create an environment that is free from harmful toxins. We proudly use therapeutic grade essential oils, diffusers and plant-based products from Young Living throughout the house and are excited to give our guests a relaxing and memorable experience.
We are located in the town of Sergeantsville just a few doors down from the Sergeantsville Inn and General Store and a 15-minute drive to New Hope/Lambertville. The lovingly restored farmhouse has wide pine floors and a walk-in fireplace with a pellet stove. A keeping room, parlour room, kitchen and full bath round out the first floor. Because this is a historic home, with original wood floors and pie stairs, we ask that guests remove their shoes upon entering the house. The pie stairs to the second floor (bedrooms) are best navigated in bare feet or indoor slippers (the painted stairs can be slippery in socks). There is no handrail (hasn't been one for 200 years!) and you must be careful to walk on the inside of the stairs against the wall. If you have young children, or have difficulty with balance or climbing stairs, our home is probably not for you.
Upstairs are two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with a full bed) and a bathroom.
You will have access to all parts of the home except the attic and the basement (no reason you'd need access to those areas) Otherwise the entire property is yours.
My wife and I are available at any time by phone, text or email during your stay. We live 15 minutes away from the property.

This little house is even cuter in person. Super clean, very cozy and loaded with charm. The owner’s were very helpful and their love of the property is apparent in every detail.
We loved the architecture of this house. The pellet stove keep things nice and toasty on some very cold days. The modern kitchen had all you could ask for. We enjoyed short trips to the local villages of Stockton and Frenchtown. The Sergeantsville Inn was right within walking distance for a nice meal. James was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Highly recommended!
My 17 year old daughters and I were looking for a place to stay to re-connect before they leave for college this coming Summer. This wonderful country home was perfect. Clean, cozy, an easy commute to their high school in Bucks County, PA, a well appointed kitchen, and all that we needed to be comfortable. The wood pellet stove was a rustic plus. I recommend this property for a weekend, a week, or a month.
We loved staying here. The house was warm and inviting, beautifully decorated with every possible convenience easily found. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The kitchen has everything you need. Having two bathrooms is really nice. The backyard is lovely and I was able sit out back and read some of my book I’ve been slow to finish I only wish we had more time to enjoy even more.
My family of four stayed here (kids shared a room) while visiting family. It was the perfect location in a quiet town with a bagel and coffee shop 328 feet from the property, according to Google Maps. we had a great time and it provided an opportunity for my wife and I to give our kids a short history lesson about how houses were built and how people lived. The house maintains its original feel inside without compromising modern amenities. The kitten and dinning room are very comfortable looking into the backyard while the bathrooms and showers are modern and suitable for a family of four. The property and location would bring us back to stay here again.
We stayed here for a few days over our kids' spring break and had a great time. Sweet, country location but also conveniently located to a few shops for essentials. We visited Lambertville, Frenchtown, rode bikes along the canal, enjoyed the garden.
Beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, with top shelf amenities (Including Young Living Essential oils throughout). We loved the house, it was very comfortable while giving us a feeling of what it was like to live in a 200 year old historic home. Our hosts were gracious and accessible, ready to assist us in any way they could. The location was peaceful and bucolic - but very accessible to the towns of New Hope and Lambertville. Would definitely come again!
