The cabin is nestled in the woods and is a perfect charming getaway for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Great hiking trails nearby to explore, and fantastic bird watching off the sunny back deck. Owner was very communicative and the cabin is nicely-appointed and cozy.
Stairs unsafe. Dead trees surrounding very narrow drive, ready to block access any moment. Absolutely zero space for anything - not in the kitchen or bedrooms or bathrooms. Dirty laundry left in washing machine. Horrible environment, claustrophobic…. Dead forest. We paid for 3.5 weeks and left after 2 nights.
This stunning cabin, has everything you will need, amazing host and a lot of privacy. The garden is a serene oasis, perfect for morning coffee. Kudos to our host for maintaining it so beautifully. The indoor plants added freshness to the cabin that gives additional feel like home experience. Joe was very kind , and very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in and check-out instructions were detailed and very helpful. Communication was seamless from start to finish. We had wonderful stay.
Pictures that were used to show rooms were spot on. Joe (host) was very helpful and very easy to reach. Enjoyed our stay and would consider doing it again.
The cabin in the woods surpassed our expectations. The host went beyond to accommodate Tara & me when we had to tweek our departure. Looking forward to a return to “the woods”, thank you.
My wife and I spent 10 days at the cabin in mid-April, giving us ample time to explore the area. The Delaware Canal towpath is a short drive away and provides miles of uncrowded walking path with plenty of natural beauty and wildlife. We cooked most meals at the cabin, but when we did venture out, there were multiple options in Frenchtown, Riegelsville, Lumberville, etc. The host was extremely responsive to any questions and had suggestions on local activities. We would not hesitate to book the cabin again when we return for our next visit.
Our family met here for Thanksgiving. One of the nicest cabins I've ever seen. We did go to New Hope 1 day but other than that rarely left the cabin. A special place.
We had a great stay at this very cool, well-appointed, and unique home! Host was an excellent communicator and was very hospitable. Highly recommended!
