Just a 2-3 minute walk to Central Park with gazebo and the many park activities, plus the pier and the lake pavilion. Or the same short walk to the downtown area with its shops, restaurants and Hoover Auditorium.

This is a large cottage that can handle a big group. It has 3 different living areas, including a recently renovated enclosed porch and a large kitchen with table plus an additional table just outside kitchen. Together they can seat 10 comfortably for meals. There are two completely separate, large family rooms, each with cable television. A sheltered back yard with pergola. Front family room has a sleeper sofa.

Rentals are weekly, Saturday to Saturday, during the Chautauqua season. For rentals before Memorial Day or after Labor Day, contact us for reduced rates and weekend or other shorter rentals.

The benefits and activities that come with your gate fee are wonderful. During the periods when the gate fee is in effect, your gate fee entitles you to a tremendous variety of benefits, including frequent free concerts at the Hoover auditorium and in the park, use of the swimming pier and beach, and of the new swimming pool and fitness center. "Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile" walkway along the lake front is just a few steps away from the cottage. Lakeside also provides supervised play area for children (age 4 and up) in the park, many children's programs and supervised activities, craft classes, craft shows, weekly farm markets, shows, lectures, boating courses, shuffleboard and shuffleboard classes, inexpensive putt-putt and theater, and many, many other benefits. And all of these are just a short walk from the cottage.

Your rental fees includes a cleaning/housekeeping fee that will pay for a thorough cleaning after your stay. You are requested to leave the cottage reasonably "broom clean" and ready for a thorough cleaning to put it back to the condition it was in when you arrived. Thanks.

This home is near the lake, in one of the nicest and most convenient areas of Lakeside. It is a very short walk to the central park area with its gazebo, shuffleboard carts, concerts, putt-putt, swimming pier and water park, and much more. It is just as short a walk to the downtown area and its restaurants, doughnut shops, gift and candy shops, cafe, Hoover auditorium and theater. The large new swimming pool, with its zero-depth entry area for small children, and water slides, and the new recreation and exercise center, are about five blocks straight down the road and just a 6-7 minute walk.
