Perfect for two people, this spotless, newly renovated and well-appointed apartment will provide a relaxing retreat to enjoy your vacation. Nestled by the shore of Union Bay, this second-floor apartment (stairway access) is quiet and private, yet close to everything you may want to enjoy--shopping, antiquing, great restaurants/bars, hiking, biking, kayaking, sight-seeing, beaches, whale watching, golfing, Schoodic Peninsula, Lamoine State Park Beach to name a few!! Sea Glass Way has a living room, kitchen/dining room, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bath with washer/dryer. Ample, well-lit area for parking, front deck with bar table and chairs, outdoor picnic area with gas grill. Kitchen has all cooking utensils needed including Keurig, Mr. Coffee. Secure keyless entrance door lock. There are two sets of stairs (one inside and one outside) to access the apartment. The views of Union Bay, from the deck, are spectacular!

Sea Glass Place was a very clean and comfortable rental with all the amenities for a vacation on the coast. The location provided beautiful and serene views of the bay in a quiet neighborhood great for walking or relaxing outside on the deck. It was a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and an hour to Bangor or Portland. I highly recommend for your next couples getaway.

Acadia visit

The view of the water was very nice. It was just about a 40 min drive from Acadia. It is a large apartment that is well furnished. It's very quiet.

We love our rural setting, and our guests give high reviews just for this! So, sorry you had nothing but rainy weather while here. Maybe that's what made our rental seem "dark" to you!

We also enjoy visiting the local beaches and eating fresh seafood! During our Maine winters, we love to travel the world and appreciate a nice, clean, comfortable vacation rental. We are five minutes from shopping centers, EV charging, and gas/convenient stores. We live in a safe, rural neighborhood with wonderful, caring neighbors.

What makes this property unique

You will enjoy views of Union Bay, Western Bay, and Mount Desert Island from our property. We have daily visits from many types of wildlife including deer, turkey, and an occasional friendly rabbit! Sitting on the front deck and watching the seals, eagles, and osprey search for their next meal in the Union Bay, is so relaxing and entertaining!
