Comfort and convenience

Location is so important when planning a vacation & next is comfort, Sea Glass Way provided both and more! The listing is accurate in the description! We were very comfortable, felt very safe and the conveniences in the apartment were wonderful. The best compliment is when we say we would stay here again & we would!

Experiencing Maine for the first time.

Our stay was great. This property was very clean and the best stocked apartment I have ever stayed in. Karen and Tom were very reassuring when Hurricane Ted was headed toward Maine. They reassured us that they had a generator, and we would have electricity. We stayed through what became a tropical storm and went on to Canada. We are very glad that we did.

Loved it!

Perfect location for access to Acadia and surrounding areas. Peaceful property- we saw several deer and some turkeys. Beautiful sunsets. Apartment had everything we needed and Karen was very responsive. We had a lovely time.

Peaceful and beautiful location and property

Beautiful water views and sunsets. Lots of wildlife everywhere you turn. Located on a very quiet, private dirt road. The apartment is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended. A+.

Welcome to Sea Glass Way on Union River Bay!
We are the owners, Karen and Tom. We are local "Mainers", born and raised here. We started renting this apartment five years ago with help of a property manager. Last year we decided to manage the rental ourselves. After a busy first year, we are excited with the upcoming season 2024! Like most of our guests, we love what our state has to offer. We enjoy walking, hiking, biking on our local trails and visiting the local beaches. During our Maine winters, we love to travel the world and appreciate a nice, clean, comfortable vacation rental. This is the same experience we want to offer our guests. We look forward to your stay here at Sea Glass Way!

Views of Union River Bay, Western Bay, and Mount Desert Island. We have daily visits from many types of wildlife including deer, turkey, eagle, seal, and an occasional rabbit!
