This is a wonderful property located in Duck Creek. Super close to a cute, family friendly hiking trail. Close areas to fish. ATV rentals at the bottom of the hill. This property had so many kitchen supplies to accommodate your large party. The grill on the patio was great!!! There is a small store at the bottom of the hill with basic groceries. Gas station very close too. Great basement area for kids to have their private space. I would recommend this property to all!! Lovely balcony on the front and back of the house to get some star gazing. Thank you for sharing your great property.

Poor cleaning
The place was dirty, shower curtain was super dirty liked they never had wash before, the carpet wasn’t vacuum, beds under sheets were hair look liked they just put a clean on top cuz underneath was hairs and dog hair as well , the kitchen stove was super dirty dishes dirty and pans to cook on top there’s only spoons and forks and 2 knives use . We have to bring our own propane cuz was not provided it on top of that the grill was nasty and dirty .
There’s only one tv working and was the leaving room one. Trash was left on the back of the house . No dishwasher there’s no curtains on the leaving room .
Everything was super dusty rooms carpet the dinner table was not even clean . Not worth paying wat we pay. Every year we rent different cabins in duck creek we always had a good experience on the stay . This it’s the first time I was disappointed I will give a 3 start rating only cuz I loved the area . Also they should tell the ppl how the weather to be l more and be prepared.
The day we arrived was snowing we knew that part but we couldn’t check in bit more early so the weather got worse by the time will be able to check in .
I will not recommend no one to stay on the cabin .

Not quite what I expected
Property met needs of group but I was embarrassed to be responsible for choosing this property.
Unexpected good:
There is an "adventure book" of trails, park maps, pictures, and activity ideas.
Digital check in check out process was pretty slick. Wifi worked just fine despite suggestions it may not. Neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of linens provided. Other reviews comment on communication issues, we were reached out to several times.
Unexpected bummers:
You get access to a digital guestbook with a lot of extra information the day of check in. Had I known some of the information prior to booking, I would have gone with another option or at least been able to plan better. Grill is listed as an amenity but guestbook informs you need to provide your own propane. Could have made it work but traveled across the country and by time we knew, it was too late. There is no place on-site to dispose of garbage. Luckily another family member brought their pickup and hauled the garbage for us so we didn't have to put it inside our SUV.
There is no dishwasher as listed.
I'm guessing the guests before us must have taken off with some of the furnishings. Only an old whisk broom, no dustpan. Not much for kitchen furnishings such as serving bowls. Lots of built up dust and grime on baseboards and under couch. No blinds on window by table and the sun shines right in eyes during normal dinner hours so only one side of table is pleasant to sit at.
We made it work fine but not what I anticipated.

Our Awful Stay for Memorial Day Weekend
I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this property was unenjoyable from the start. Upon arrival/inspection of the home, the electric stove had a glass like surface. The right side of it had a broken hole through it causing the biggest heating element to be unable to cook on. It allowed us to use the left side of the stove while the right side was inoperable due to the damage and exposed wires. The microwave does not heat up food, even after microwaving something that was room temperature for 5 minutes, it would not change in temperature. The second floor toilet leaked. When I addressed all of these problems to the property management, they brought a microwave but didn't even know where the bathroom was when explaining all of our concerns/complaints. The only thing that was addressed/fixed was the microwave. We found out the hard way that the fridge and freezer do not work. We attempted to freeze water to make ice on Thursday, it was still water by Sunday morning when we had to check out. We had to throw away our food that we brought up that would not fit in our coolers and constantly had to buy bags of ice to keep our items cold. There is no dishwasher as it is listed under the Amenities. The pictures used for the listing is not current as the living room furniture, bar stools and kitchenware are different. The shower heads on the second and third floor are comparable to a sprinkler head, not a normal shower head. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. There are no balls for the foosball table. The hose outside by the firepit does not work/when turned on, water would not come out. We found a bucket to use to put the fire out with and that had holes at the bottom of it. This home needs a lot of work before anyone tries to stay here. I would be very upset if I was the home owner and found out about the condition that it was in.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. These items are being taken care of.
Location and number of rooms were great. Easy check-in. Had many dishes to use. We had a fun time! Property manager was slow getting back to us about being out of toilet paper, luckily store was open to buy some. Beds are a little worn out. No dishwasher or kayak even though listed under amenities.
Except for the showers & management communications everything is good.
Hot/cold control on main floor not working.
Bath tub drain is not working properly
Wrote to the management on Saturday 07/26/2020 7pm and received a reply at 4:26pm 07/27/2020 while I am resting back home in
Las Vegas.
