Las Mañanitas, Condominium 4205
Entering a unique piece of heaven, in an already heavenly place, is not an everyday experience. Entering paradise inside Paradise is even rarer. This is experienced, in a wonderful way, as you enter this unit.
The wood door opens to a long, ample corridor, where the kitchen, diner, and living room all take turns to occupy your senses. At first glance, the kitchen seems a masterpiece of simplicity. Golden countertops mix with light colored wood and modern appliances, creating a surreal effect of time travel. On the outer side of the breakfast bar, two wooden stools wait in wood-woven seats.
Past this, the diner grasps your eyes. Once again, with simple details and subtle décor, class and elegance are redefined. A table meant for eight seats, with dark wood and the simplest of wood-weaves atop, carefully crowned with a glass table-top, is in the center of this room. All eight chairs match the table, perfectly dressed in this mesmerizing combination of dark solid woods and light colored, wooden strings. The ample space is broken only by an ornate vase and table at the end of the Diner. Perfection has, in here, been achieved.
To the left of this room, the Master bedroom awaits. In here, Victorian shapes mix and blend with modern day materials and techniques, culminating in wonderful shapes and colors, with textures beyond imagination and dreams. A massive wooden headrest give way to bent iron rods shaped into magnificent formations, and from there to a King size bed in luscious colors. Unnaturally large fitments seem natural, flowing accordingly to the grandeur in the ambiance. Next to the large window –which slides to reveal a passage way to another world –a lounge chair in tanned leather sits idly, facing a large drawer set and a brass frame containing a mirror. From here, past the sliding door, the terrace opens into a view that few can even imagine, let alone witness.
The Master Bathroom, which can only be accessed from within the room, once again creates the feeling of exiting reality and entering a dream. The hallway holds room for a hiding closet, shying away from behind wooden doors, and two sinks in marble countertop with the prying eye of a large mirror ready and eager to show your reflection in its silver surface. From there, the arch parts open the wall to reveal a wood of stone and pearls. The tub, embedded in fallen leafs of marble, seems to be an ivory vase against the warm rocks. To the right, the bare stone climbs into the shower and walls. And where there is no marble, the matte finishing in the walls is only broken by the iron accents that float on the wall.
From the living room, with its massive loveseats arranged into an L shape framing a luxurious coffee table and dwarfing the playful single couch and coffee table next to it, the view is unimaginable. Blue and green and sand crash against the rocky inside of the home and the golden color of the entertainment center TV(with ROKU ready to enter your NETFLIX account for movies), while the sliding doors open into a large outer diner hiding underneath a wooden Palapa, typical in Mexico. To the right, still on this balcony, two lounge chairs face the ocean. From here, anything from the Sunrises to the pools, and on certain months, even the Blue Whales that visit Cabo, acquire a sense of magnitude and awe that cannot be found anywhere else. And from behind the lounge chairs, and past another sliding glass door, the Guest Bedroom waits.
Two double beds, segregated by a small nightstand playing referee, battle for dominance over the room. Their wooden headrests occupy most of the wall, and on the other side, a small single couch dressed in blue seems to be a keen observer of this sport. Wooden doors hide away the closet, which has been carved into the wall. A painted agave plant gives life to the empty walls. In the bathroom, a sink in marble crashes against tanned wood and browned marble tiles. The shower is shielded up to the waist by stone and from there on by safety glass. Once again, as a common rule in this home, luxury by simplicity is achieved, allowing you to concentrate in the strongest, most luxurious aspect of this place… the outside.
A fully equipped, fully functional laundry room is at your service.
Welcome home to San Jose del Cabo, and welcome to the Sea Side Family. Please, do enjoy.
