The ultimate view of the water

Nestled in the beautiful resort community of Bahia Del Mar this spacious 2 bedroom two bath, first floor condo has many conveniences to offer vacationers. Hop over the Boca Ciega bridge and run straight into the historical Dom Cesar Hotel head south and you will end up at Pass a Grill public beach where the "Hurricane" restaurant serves up the freshest Grouper and refreshing tropical drinks. Head north on Gulf Blvd and adventure off jet skiing or, instead, taking a leisurely boat ride and possibly engaging with the dolphins. The condo is within 10 minutes from downtown St Pete which has a thriving art and cultural community, rare and inspiring restaurants that attract"foodies" from all over. Hop over the Tierra Verde bridge , southeast of the condo and enjoy the public beaches of Fort Desoto Park. Which is a state run full -facility nature preserve with bike trails, picnic benches, snack bars or just relax on the miles of sandy white natural beaches.
There is so much to do outside of the resort community or decide to just relax at the splrawling pool that overlooks the Tirerra Verde marina and A sharp view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Other amenities include: workout gym, a dock surrounded by natural mangroves and a very healthy wildlife and saltwater environment including a school of dolphins that like to appear at sunset to "wave" for another great day on the water at Baha'i Del Mar...
The condo itself is located on the first floor of the building which is very convenient to the free parking that offers many spaces steps away from the comforts of this spacious 1200 square ft home away from home.
The kitchen has full sized appliances, including ..Refigerator with huge ice maker in the freezer, stove with glass top burners, dishwasher , cookware and cooking utensils for those who like to cook for themselves.
Private washer and dryer are very convenient inside the condo
Small dogs are allowed with approval and a $75 fee

This unit was very accessible for our 92-year parent - ground floor and no stairs. Unit was very clean, very comfortable. Close to St. Pete and Clearwater beaches and to many restaurants, etc. Relatively short and easy drive to Sarasota (St. Armand's Circle is a must-visit). We highly recommend this property.

Disappointed but with some attention to detail would give it another shot

This property has a lot to offer with location and views of water but unfortunately we ran into issues during our stay which is the result of the rating. During our stay, this property had cleanliness issues that hadn’t been addressed in some time. The pull out couch had apparent urine stains on the used fitted sheet and was covered in dog hair. The vents were caked with dust and the house had an odor of must. The 2nd bathroom was unusable due to a drainage issue. I contacted the owner and to her credit, tried to handle the issues. She contacted a plumber, but they were unavailable to fix the issue during our stay. She also cleaned the vent in the living room and credited me one night for our troubles. She was pleasant to deal with. I would try this property again, as the owner is taking care of the issues we ran into during our stay.

Wonderful water front location, convenient to many local natural treasurers

We enjoyed our stay and found the condo well equipped and as advertised. The owner is great to work with. We enjoyed the ability to take advantage of the waterfront location for fishing and paddling. Another plus is the property's location near many of the areas beautiful state and local parks with many recreational opportunities. Will stay again next time.

Tierra Verde visit

We had a good time going to our favorite restaurants from 15 years ago. It did rain most of the time. Great views. Only problem everyday sprinklers came on at 5 while raining and wakes you up because it hits the bedroom window. TV in living room needs to be updated. Picture at top very blurry. In guest bathroom tub and sink clogged up quickly. We probably noticed this because we where inside alot from rain. But excellent place to stay.

Loved every thing about our stay at Isla del Sol -except having to leave. Our host was welcoming, charming and !helpful. It was decorated beautifully and the view of the Bay was amazing! Just a short hop to the beach and plenty of great restaurants. All the museums and The Pier with shops and more restaurants 10 min drive. So quiet and peaceful, including the huge bayfront pool. Loved it!!!
