MDW Beach Getaway

Nestled beautifully between the bay and the beach this property allows quick and easy access to the ferry, Schooner’s, and Island Pantry. The enormous back deck can accommodate the whole family for evening barbecues with comfortable seating for 10 and the kitchen is a chef's dream. Joanne was helpful and responsive, and all pertinent information regarding the house is conveniently provided in a laminated binder. If you love having a laid back community feel and catching rays at the beach, look no further than this stay.

Perfect vacation at Primo Bacio!

We have stayed at several houses on FI. This was by far the nicest. Everything we needed was provided, the house is updated, clean, and so pretty and homey. The hosts were very responsive to my questions and needs. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Another Great Stay!

This was our second year staying at this property, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. The house is just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to bars, a liquor store, and a grocery store. It’s perfect for large groups—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The central air is a huge plus, especially during the warmer months. The owners are fantastic—friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with anything you need. Can’t wait to return for years to come!

Great Place!

The house is exactly as described! Great Fire Island rental. The house has everything you will need and fit our group of 7 adults. The kitchen is updated with a large fridge and a wine fridge! The back deck is very spacious! Joanne was extremely responsive and personable. We would definitely rent here again.

Another magical week on Fire Island

This home was perfect for our family vacation! We were two couples and three kids (plus an extra adult came for one night) and the rooms and amount of space were perfect for us. Very spacious eat-in kitchen and back deck. Kitchen was well stocked and had anything we could think of. Central AC a total plus! I’m bummed on behalf of any property owner on Cayuga that the hotel (which I assume is relatively new?) took away the street’s direct beach access. In the grand scheme of things, it’s by no means the end of the world to walk a block over to get to the beach (we did walk through the hotel a few times to get to the beach but there are stairs you couldn’t bring a wagon through) this is overall a minor inconvenience with wagons and gear and kiddos. Clean and well appointed house, attentive and responsive hosts- thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful home!

One of the best homes Ive stayed in in fire island! Central air and comfortable beds made it such a pleasant stay. Very clean and organized. The only thing I didn’t love was the extra charge for use of bikes as other houses I’ve stayed in did not charge extra.

40 th anniversary celebration

The house had everything that we needed. Clean kitchen very large, comfortable bedrooms more than adequate space. The deck in the back was wonderful and all of us sat out. Enjoyed the barbecue.. Very close to a local deli which made it a lot easier when we ran out of an item or two. Ferry within five minutes of the house. No access to the beach from Cayuga so you had to go to the next block and then down the walkway to the beach great stay would’ve liked to of utilized the bicycles and as a general suggestion it would’ve been nice if it came with the price of the home.

Perfect family get away

This house was awesome! I stayed with my two younger kids for 4 night. Joanne was a perfect host, communicating everything before we got there. The house had everything we needed and was super restful between trips to the beach, bike riding, and collecting shells. I definitely will be booking our next annual trip to Fire Island at this home!

Great place to stay

A very nice house that fit our needs perfectly. Less than 5 minute walk to the Ferry/Water Taxi and about 5 minutes to the beach! Great location!

Beautiful off-season retreat

The pictures don't do justice to the property: it is roomy, very well-equipped, and steps away from the beach. Word apart for Joanne: she was easy to communicate with, really nice, and got us some kickass bikes. Strongly recommended.

amazing getaway

House was great for me and my friends all weekend. Owners were very responsive and the house was very clean and fully stocked with sheets, towels, beach chairs etc. Would absolutely come back in the future.
