Great cabin near lake. I didn’t understand this was in the back of a small campground , but everyone was pleasant and curfews were respected. Did have some ants in cabin on first day. All in all a great stay. Would recommend!
We chose this property because of amenities and location. However, we found much more. On 9/5 we were fortunate to be onsite for a bonfire, great music (Seth Brown Duo) and met some wonderful resort folks. We highly recommend this resort.
Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a short get away. It was nice be able to cook in their newly remodeled kitchen, which had everything we needed including basic spices. Shower was hot and the heat in the cabin was perfect for the cool night. We will return again to this resort again.
We brought our Mom up for her 60th birthday. This cabin slept 6 women very comfortably! We enjoyed the book on the progress of the campground.
We had a small leak under the door from heavy rain & when we alerted the owner she was prompt to put it on her list to repair it for the next renter. There are so many nice cabins at this campground for families to come to the UP together.
Accuracy of listing was an issue. I booked as it was to be a 5 bed cabin. It only had 4 so one slept on the couch. Also, it’s 2 miles from the snowmobile trail not right on the trail.

Hi Doug. Thanks for the review. Glad you had a good stay. Just to clarify, we are 1/4 mile from trail 417 and 2 miles from trail 8. You can also access trail 8 directly from the lake. Sorry if there was any confusion with that.
We loved it, so much so we wanted to stay longer but it was already booked. The fireplace in the Isle Royal was incredible. Everything we needed was there. Beautifully decorated. The bed was soft and we both slept like rocks. The view of the lake was perfect. Our hosts were friendly and responded to every question quickly. We brought our two dogs which was a first for us. It was so very nice not to have to board them. We all had a wonderful time and will be back for sure. Next time we will book for longer!
Please for the love of god don’t stay here. My family came up after a 7 hour drive after work, to the most disgusting filthy place I’ve ever seen. It’s -8 outside and theirs dead mosquitoes frozen in the freezer, dead mosquitoes and bugs smashed on walls. Hair in the bed, dirty sheets, a butter stick with butter attached under the bed, water bottles under the bed, cobwebs for days so thick in the corners. At 2:30am I was calling for a hotel. I couldn’t sleep their. (Came up to volunteer for the dog sled) I was their for less then an hour and still got charged for a night. The owners response was no apology, didn’t say we can reclean, nothing! Extremely unhelpful. Only she was losing money. I have pictures of everything with time stamps. I know everyone’s clean is different, but this was a nightmare I wouldn’t let my dog stay here. Get some bleach and scrub it down.

Guest was scheduled for 3 nights. Tried to cancel on the SECOND day of their stay and wanted a full refund. Quite frankly, I believe their plans changed and they wanted an out. Tried to bully me into a full refund by threatening a bad review if I did not give them a full refund. I was kind enough to refund for the nights they did not stay, but would not refund them for the time they stayed. This is the only non 5 star review I have received. This cabin is, was and will always be CLEAN!! I believe the rest of the reviews speak for themselves. As the saying goes, “there is one in every crowd.” 🤷♀️
The cabin was clean and modern. The view of the lake was beautiful
We had an excellent experience and will be coming up there in Spring.

Property was better than in the listing pictures (updated), however, the cleanliness could have been better (e.g. dust, cobwebs, floors not scrubbed, walls by stove). Overall, it served it's purpose.
Amazing quiet and cozy the lake was beautiful the outdoor community type area was almost complete and beautiful and relaxing overall excellent property
5/5 for this place!! Pleasantly surprised to see the cabin was part of a resort (this was not clear in the description). Even happier to enter a renovated cabin. Very clean!! Linens even smelled fresh. Wonderful family run resort with lots to do and lots to see in the area. We took our SxS and hit the trails, was alot of fun right from the property.
The sundeck was enjoyed each morning with coffee in hand!
Cabin was awesome check in was easy beautiful view great cabin rustic feel but very clean an had all the amenities anyone would need. nice furniture comfy beds highly recommend if you are looking to stay in the area lots of sights to see near by right next to snowmobile trails.
Great location. We had a group of four that stayed in Presque Isle cabin and the cabin was comfortable, clean, and convenient. The cabin has great access to trails 418 and 8 with gas within a couple miles. Plenty of trailer parking, we will return this location again in the future.
